So You Say You Want a Revolution: Week 12, Period 3

When the students arrived in their classroom, they would each find a note on their desk.  Each note read the same thing.

Dear Class,

By now you will have hopefully learned something that could be applicable to your home situation. Seeing as though many of you will be returning there this week due to the holiday weekend, discuss amongst your groups what you feel you could take from this class to use at home. Be prepared for your final non-exam class next week.

Still slightly confused with the whole No Class going on, Cloud decided the topic at hand was conversation worthy for at least a moment. Maybe Ally would come in later on and see who stayed?

Karla wasn't going home. Like she'd pass up a chance to celebrate an eating holiday here with her friends! She could be thankful! She practically had this holiday down.

Which didn't mean she wasn't thinking about Aly's question, of course.

Percy wasn't planning on going home for this holiday as he was saving that for Christmas thus he didn't know if the question applied. He was still hanging around though, thinking about it.

"If I could go home this weekend, I wouldn't be here now." Cally read the note with a faint frown, her already-thin mouth flattening into a line, then smoothing out again with a shake of her head. "But I suspect that making contacts is the thing that will eventually be most useful if I do make it back there."

Did anybody here actually want Luke to take stuff he learned back home with him?

It didn't matter at the moment; he was staying here for break. But he could think of stuff he'd like to put into use one day. You know, once he somehow magically gained the ability to plan instead of acting like an impulsive idiot.

Ino was here and idly seeing if she could guess where Duani was hiding if she was around.

She could, of course, find out by mentally searching but that took some of the challenge out of it.

Percy was here even if he looked like he wanted to leave early because there was no teacher. Maybe this would make it easier to punch the hell out of Nico. They hadn't had a detention on Saturday so maybe he could get away with it.

Nico stuck around class despite the strong temptation to ditch out when he saw no teacher watching. It'd be better than getting into it with Percy or avoiding too much eye contact elsewhere.

I'm sorry for the lack of Aly interaction today! I'm trying not to die from the stomach flu and go to work so I get holiday pay and then drive to my mom's tonight. Many, many thanks to weetinykyle for the note idea!
