When the students arrived in their classroom, they would each find a note on their desk.  Each note read the same thing.

Dear Class,

By now you will have hopefully learned something that could be applicable to your home situation. Seeing as though many of you will be returning there this week due to the holiday weekend, discuss amongst your groups what you feel you could take from this class to use at home. Be prepared for your final non-exam class next week.

Even travelling with Richard, Cara hadn't been to a harvest festival in a very long time. "I didn't think a place like this would celebrate that."
