DADA for Muggles, final class [Wednesday]
It had taken Remus and Sirius slightly less time this go around to program the Danger Room to do what they wanted (Sirius contended it was because it had threatened the computer with a good hexing, but that was debatable), but for a final examination, the professors felt that a bit of effort should be expended.
"Welcome to your exam," Sirius said with a slightly fiendish smile, extending his hand to encompass the scene before them: a large grassy area (complete with a different castle in the background. They missed Hogwarts a bit, so hush) covered in a variety of obstacles. "Hopefully you remember what you have learned. You will encounter a series of practical exercises in order for us to determine how prepared you are to face the Dark Arts in every day life. Good luck. If you get too hexed to continue, Professor Lupin and I will step in, but I don't think that will be entirely necessary."

Pick out the vampire in the Goth club

Dinah stared around the club, then randomly growled at a few people.
She got two offers of dates, and then a glare back with yellow eyes and fangs. "Ha!"
...um, right, what was she supposed to do now?
Re: Pick out the vampire in the Goth club
Alex decided to just stand against the wall and hope the damn vampire came to him. This one just wasn't happening for him today.
Re: Pick out the vampire in the Goth club
"Colourful," Effy noted, checking out his shirt. Somehow not in-keeping with the Goth theme. Not that she was doing much better, but, benefit of wearing a lot of black, it didn't really show much.
Re: Pick out the vampire in the Goth club
"Thought I'd go with something festive today," he said and even pulled off his cap to show her his hair. "I don't even need a hat or elf shoes today. Cute, right?"
Re: Pick out the vampire in the Goth club
"Been playing in the snow?"
Re: Pick out the vampire in the Goth club
"I'm not adorable and I wasn't playing," he finally answered, making a face. "Just got caught in some walking from the dorms to the school. As long as this shit comes out in the shower, I'll live."
Re: Pick out the vampire in the Goth club
"Thought you'd be the one hiding behind a tree ready to pelt someone." He did say how much he liked throwing things at people, after all. Once there was snow, it was practically expected.
Re: Pick out the vampire in the Goth club
That made it a lot more fun and hiding was another thing he hated doing. "Besides, this snow would turn my hands different colors. Really miss my aggressive tendencies, don't you?"

Yeah, he still remembered that.
"Now, I don't have an excuse to touch you," he said, shaking his head. "Sad."
Re: Pick out the vampire in the Goth club
"You don't normally need an excuse." This was Alex, after all.
Re: Pick out the vampire in the Goth club
"No, I don't," he agreed and took that as an invitation to reach up and settle one hand on the side of her neck, thumb brushing along her skin. Considering where he was, it was kind of needed. And he wanted to prove that he didn't need an excuse.
"I really hate vampires," he shared after a moment's pause, a little quieter than he'd been talking.
Re: Pick out the vampire in the Goth club
"Don't see one yet," she noted, briefly glancing to one side to check. That was comforting, right?

Well. They'd gone out before and it wasn't like going out with her was a hardship or anything. Considering everything else, he figured he'd be proactive and see if she was interested.

She wasn't actually looking for any vampires, just keeping that in mind while she blended with the crowd and tried to enjoy that little break she'd found in this. One was bound to show itself eventually.

Francine settled for taking a seat by the bar and pulling out a makeup mirror, pretending to check her eyeshadow while she scanned the club for empty spaces where there should have been people.
