Library [10/02]
Jono understood that, as today was the day where people had family and friends and who only knew what else arriving on the island, he was probably going to have to make certain that the library looked presentable. More or less presentable.
Like a library.
Jono had no idea what a 'presentable library' was supposed to look like, and so he was going to just make sure that the books were more or less shelved in the right places, and then he'd cross his fingers.

Morning [10/02]
Lunch [10/02]
Yes. Dutiful. Believe that, please.
Re: Lunch [10/02]
"Glad I guessed the right day," she said cheerfully as she pulled Eliot over to the counter.
Re: Lunch [10/02]
Okay, he hadn't heard about this one.
"Hi. I'm Eliot. And you are...?"
Re: Lunch [10/02]
Because, eeee, music.
Re: Lunch [10/02]
"I'm the musician, yes," he said.
Re: Lunch [10/02]
"This is my brother, Eliot. He's the one you heard on the phone. Jonothon, Eliot. Eliot, Jonothon. Jonothon wants to teach me about music."
Re: Lunch [10/02]
Okay, he'd behave now, of course. But still.
//It's a pleasure, mate. Yer a real talent, though I'm certain yer already know that.//
Re: Lunch [10/02]
"Thanks. I'm glad you liked it. It doesn't sound all that great from the phone, though. Peyton let me listen to it."
He wished she was here, but no. Siiiigh.
"You play?"
Re: Lunch [10/02]
Re: Lunch [10/02]
//Guitar,// he replied. //Electric and acoustic, if I can get my hands on an acoustic here on the island. And I must say, if the phone has gummed up the sound as much as yer say it has, then I think I've absolutely got to hear yer play in person sometime.//
Re: Lunch [10/02]
"I've played the guitar a few times," notably, once while trying to impress a girl "and I can play for you. Or we could play together while I'm here."
Re: Lunch [10/02]
//I'd like that, mate. I'm not exactly the easiest bloke to get in contact with, mind. Telephones and I aren't exactly friends.// At all. Ever. //If yer like, I'm in room 408 in th'dorms. Yer can get Fiona to bring yer by sometime. Or we could meet somewhere else, The Perk or some such place, whichever suits yer best.//

Afternoon [10/02]
Absolutely nothing. Jono was sitting at the desk, leaving well enough alone before he could manage to ruin something.

"How's the book business?"
Re: Afternoon [10/02]
She leveled an accusing finger at Didi. "the OThER TwO elDeST arE GoINg to BE veRy FrOwNy."
Re: Afternoon [10/02]
... Wait.
//Frowny?//
No, the book business wasn't frowny. But, you know, there were some things that just had to be addressed before the rest, and that certainly seemed like one of them.

Re: Afternoon [10/02]
"When I get yelled at for Not Telling, I am pointing at our Sister-Brother and running away."
Re: Afternoon [10/02]
//Run far and fast,// he suggested, trying his best to be helpful, and fairly certain that, at the moment, he was actually well out of his league here.
