Library [10/02]
Jono understood that, as today was the day where people had family and friends and who only knew what else arriving on the island, he was probably going to have to make certain that the library looked presentable. More or less presentable.
Like a library.
Jono had no idea what a 'presentable library' was supposed to look like, and so he was going to just make sure that the books were more or less shelved in the right places, and then he'd cross his fingers.

"Something like that."
Re: Lunch [10/02]
Jono knew better by now than to question someone who seemed as though they possibly knew better, between here and the Academy back in Massachusetts.

... Nope. Still not the strangest thing he'd heard. Actually, it was downright normal compared to most of it, lately.

Re: Lunch [10/02]
"It was that, or be rat chow. Or crocodile chow. Homicidal maniac chow. Uh... US army chow?"
He opened the case and ran his hand over the lacquer.
"Her name is the Lady Dawn."
And as the sheen of the wood glowed with gold and turquoise highlights and the still air strummed through the strings in a half-remembered melody... the name certainly seemed fitting.
Re: Lunch [10/02]
Or possibly something one step above quality. Maybe there wasn't a word for it that summed it up quite right.
//Seems to me,// he mused, bent on staying on the conversation at hand even while his gaze drifted elsewhere, //there were a lot of factors out to... eat yer.//
Figuratively, partially. Hopefully. Unless the US army was a little more terrifying than even he expected it to be.
