Practical Weaponry [Wednesday, Period Four]

Bond waited outside of the Danger Shop until all of his class had arrived. When they went inside, the room had taken on the appearance of a city devoid of life and eerily silent.

"I do hope you all remembered your zombie plans from our first class," Bond said from the doorway, checking his watch. "Since the zombie apocalypse and your final are both scheduled to start in about five minutes. Anyone who's still alive at the end of the class passes. That is unless you managed to cause the undeath of a classmate in the process, in which case you fail. Have fun."

With that he locked the door of the Danger Shop behind them. A faint groaning could be heard in the distance.

Leda muttered the elven word for fire, and made a small fireball appear in her hand. Fortunately it seemed this counted as serious enough for her geas to not apply. "I'm game."

Anemone's eyes got really big, and she squealed and clapped her hands with glee. "I wanna do that too!"

"Bummer," she sulked, still eying it enviously. "With that, you can make shish-ka-bob zombies, and not need to worry about it spreading to the trees if you have good aim, yeah?"

"Yeah. Also I know how to put it out really quickly. The problem is burning a Zombie might not be the best way to destroy it's brain. Certainly not the quickest."

"Can you target the eyes? It can't see, it can't find anything to eat," Anemone pointed out. "It's also a nice, fast, path to the brain."

"Hmm." Leda looked at the fireball and muttered thoughtfully. The ball shrank. Too fast, actually and it went out. "Damn. I'll have to practice that."
