Detention, Danger Shop and Beyond, 8 AM till 2 PM
"Morning," Mitchell greeted; he was starting to look less like he'd been on a bender the longer he was staying off the blood, and so this morning he actually looked fairly fit and chipper for the job. "You're all here because you've misbehaved, and the school's appointed me for your punishment. I'm Mitchell." Beat. "Don't call me professor. It makes me feel old."
He left the sign-in sheet on the desk at the front of the class.
Zack Fair
Tony Foster
Karla
Morgana
Fiona Post
John Sheppard
Jaina Solo
"Today, we're putting you all to work," he said, "We've got a lot of dead alligators out there, so I hope you know how to get out some bloodstains. Then we'll come back around to the Danger Shop for lunch and you'll hear the rest of it."
Mitchell grinned at the class. "We'll have proper detention." It was possible that, for all his heartfelt dedication to the job of being human, he wasn't, in fact, all that good at it.
"Oh, and let me know if you're squeamish."
Mitchell used to clean at a hospital. He had different ideas about disgusting.

Coffee Circle
Converse with your fellow students, converse with Mitchell, eat the scones, boggle--
"And I want you all to tell me one disturbing fact about yourselves!"
--He really, really shouldn't be this cheerful. And interested.
Re: Coffee Circle
He was feeding coffee to Zack Fair?
Oh, this could only end in twitching and spasms, really.
"A disturbing fact about myself?" This was hard. "I really, really liked getting to fight those monsters yesterday? But by the end of the day, I was covered in so much monster goo and sewage, Alice had to hose me off outside of the dorms."
That was sufficiently disturbing, sure!
Re: Coffee Circle
Re: Coffee Circle
He'd put entirely too much sugar in that coffee.
"And I think the janitor would have smacked me on the head if I ended up tracking raw sewage up two floors. I'll worry about dry cleaning once I get into a change of clothes."

Maybe the professor wouldn't notice her?
Re: Coffee Circle
"Come on!" said Mitchell. He was being encouraging. While grinning. "We're all sharing here. Zack knows how to hose himself off so he doesn't track alligator bits into the school!"
Re: Coffee Circle
Probably not.
"Pick a category, then."
Re: Coffee Circle
Oh, Mitchell. "You're not touching your scones, for one." Too stereotypical?

Rather than say anything, Karla just held out her right hand and slipped her serpent's tooth out from under her ring-finger nail. She was too busy drinking coffee to actually participate in conversation.
[SP for the afternoon]

Three people, and so far, none of them had actually been human. The ordinary kind, at least.

... On a figurative note.
"Oh, I don't know," Mitchell said, thoughtfully, "You call your exes in the middle of the night, you leave the toilet lid up, you turn into a zombie at the stroke of midnight, that sort of thing."
Mitchell's definition of disturbing was wide.

Desperately so. "What kind of wizard?"
