Library [05/13]
With workshops going on, there was nothing that could keep Sam out of the library now. He'd gotten away from his cabin early, and had both coffee and a bagel to keep him going through the morning. He wasn't sure if anyone would need the library so early in the term, but he was ready just in case.

"I was looking for some fiction," she admitted, not quite sure what to look for beyond that. The whole genre stretched before her, an unknown and potentially treacherous landscape of books full of things that'd never happened, lacking facts. The concept was even a little creepy.
"But then I saw your sign. What makes these a necessity?"

metaedarray of Shakespeare and Dickens and the like. "They're older and they've been read by a lot of people. I tossed a few modern books on too, mainly because they're popular too. I figured if people are new to this world, they might want to start with stuff that a lot of people have read, but there's a whole section of fiction books that you can look at too. She'd been raised entirely without fiction, except for the one that her family had operated under for fifteen years that insisted that she and Eliot were completely normal and that the woman taking care of them was their Grandmother.

Which was less about pleasing him and more about finding something of decent quality. After all, he'd know the best books on the subject of things he enjoyed whereas he'd probably just pick the most well known for the other genres.
