Dru's Classroom: the formation of a new club

After his meeting with Grissom, Angelus made his way to Dru's classroom. He smiled. She'd left it for him to open, just as she'd promised.

He opened the door, switched on the lights, searched Dru's supplies for some poster board, then got to work.

It was going to be a long day.

Alanna imagined anyone she knew singing in robes and burst out laughing. "Well, we have Priests who teach us, but I'd hate to hear them sing, they put me to sleep as it is. Chorus is the capital of Tortall, the country I come from." She snickers as the image of Jon in a robe looking angelic floats past her minds-eye.

Alanna frowned. "Starbucks? I'm guessing that means small town right? And a Hellmouth?" Her brows go up. "I grew up in a 'small town', Trebond, but I've been in the capital for the past six years and it's far from small."

"Ah! Coffee is of the good." Alanna nodded. "We don't have a 'hell', just an after life, but I've been reading so I have some idea on what it is. So you lived on the mouth of Hell?"

"That almost sounds like fun." Alanna replied with a smile. "You sure you didn't just move the town here? Any zombies? All we got were attacking armies from Tusaine every once in a while. And those were on the borders."

Alanna blinked. "I think I've been here long enough that that actually made sense. Thankfully, I'm the only one here from my world, as far as I know."

((I think there was a bet going on around here somewhere about how long it would take before Alanna's daughter showed up.))

Alanna chewed on her lip. "Think your Middle Ages, only cleaner and with Magic. And a lot of Gods."

((Ooc: I nearly got run over by a car thinking that. Was walking home and pondering FH plotlines, suddenly, hey what if Connor shows up. Oops, is that a car?))

"The Gods? It depends. Myles always says that it's best for us when they don't meddle in our lives, but well, who knows. They're Gods after all." Alanna distractedly plays with the cord aroung her neck.

((ooc: OMG. I kinda don't want a soul stuck in him, because your Angelus? Rocks!))

Alanna chewed on her lip. "He's...the only non-Priest teacher we have. A really nice guy who's kinda like a father to well, me. And I think he sorta guessed that I'm a girl. Long story."

Alanna smirked. "No, not so much. Like I said, your Middle Ages, women have no rights. I wanted to be a knite." She shrugs. "Hiding as a boy was the easy part."

Alanna raised a brow. "Party? 'Squire Alan' is considered one of the best fencers at court. For all his great height and muscle."

[identity profile] threeweapons.livejournal.com 2005-10-06 02:45 am (UTC)(link)
"Ah, well, that's a compliment then I guess? I never understood why men think women are weak. Some of the ladies at the palace put my fellow squire's to shame."

[identity profile] threeweapons.livejournal.com 2005-10-06 02:52 am (UTC)(link)
Alanna raised a brow. "Turned you? You're not born a vampire? And she sounds like my kind of 'lady'."

[identity profile] threeweapons.livejournal.com 2005-10-06 03:00 am (UTC)(link)
Alanna raised a brow but didn't comment on the first part. "Well, I meet plenty of 'ladies' who are anything but, and they are usually far more interesting than the proper type."
