The door to the classroom is wide open. The teacher's desk is vacant, awaiting Dr. Carter. On the desk is an open box of brownies from Deb's Diner.

Angelus sits on top of one of the student desks with his feet resting on the chair of the desk in front of him. He leafs through a notebook, occasionally jotting things down as they occur to him. He is dressed in the same black on black ensemble that he had on earlier in the day, but the pin he wore in Study Hall is missing.

Angelus occasionally hums a cheery tune to himself, and occasionally shakes his head as though disbelieving his own inner thoughts.

Dr. Carter sits amused in the corner and files her nails, leaving metal shavings behind.

"Hey Doc," Angelus gave her a big smile. "Always glad to see you."

She smiles back. "Likewise, I'm sure."

"Shame I'm not more into the sciences," Angelus said. "I bet you'd be my favorite teacher. By the by, can't say enough how much I appreciate all you've done for our little group so far."

"I love to help out those with similar mind sets to my own. Anything you need, just ask."

"I may take you up on that later," Angelus said. "Private meeting? Club head to faculty advisor?"

"Mmm, I'm sure that could be arranged."

Angelus gave her one of his best grins. "Looking forward to it."

Anakin waves at his Professor.

Well, hello there, Anakin. Glad to see you at this little function.

Always good to get out of the dorms and meet new people, ma'am.

*looks around at the room*

These seem to be some of the more interesting students at this school, anyway.

Ah yes, quite an entertaining bunch. You'll fit in perfectly. *pets his arm affectionately*

*tries not to be weirded out by that*

Mystique nods to Dr. Carter as she settles in.

You're Mystique, aren't you?

She nods. "When you have time later, I have a few computer systems questions I'd like to ask."

"Anytime, my dear."

"Thank you."

To someone who has studied her as thoroughly as Dr. Carter, Beka looks oddly uncertain and somewhat out of place. To anyone else, she just looks pissed off. "Hello, Dr. Carter."

Hello Beka, good to see you here.

She takes a deep breath, releases it. When she looks around, she doesn't automatically hate everyone she sees, and she realizes, "It's good to be here, Dr. Carter. Very."

John overhears this from several steps away.

"Dr. Carter? Don't tell me Sam's mom works here too. That's just painful."

Beka smiles at the guy Angelus wanted her to talk to, or maybe was pulling her leg about. "Hey. I'm Beka. And no, I don't think she's Sam's mom. Unless they're putting on a really good act in class."

"Hey, Beka. I'm John."

He looks at ~~eeeevil~~Replicarter.

"They look alike. Aunt, maybe?"

"Nice to meet you, John."

She studies Dr. Carter, smiles.

"They do look alike. Funny how I hadn't noticed. I guess it's because they act so different. Aunt, could be. I could ask Sam."
