Coffee in one hand and laptop tucked under the other, Bridge does some creative juggling in order to fish out the keys to the library from his pocket.

The library is open.

Bridge is sleepily working on devouring that cup of coffee. Mmmm, coffee.

Uggh, coffee. Still, it was early, Turtle understood, for most people. She, on the other hand, was feeling like this could almost be a late start, despite the fact that couldn't even get started until the library opened, right?

"Hi, Bridge. Do you think you could direct me toward where I might find the books on mooses?"

Bridge's player, otoh, completely agrees with Turtle "Sure!" he chirps, because even a somewhat sleepy Bridge is still a bouncy Bridge. "Right this way." He bounces out from behind the desk and towards the nature section. "Though personally speaking, I think the plural should be meese."

Turtle followed well enough, but his personally speaking comment got a good firm look of suspicion from Turtle. "Nuh-uh," she said. "Meese? Seriously? That's totally a made-up word."

"The plural of goose is geese," Bridge replies. "By analogy, the plural of moose should be meese."

"I'm not, I mean, I am, but there's over a week till class starts up again, so it's not like I don't have time, I guess. What I'm saying is, what's up?" He looks up from his notes and gives Sky a smile.

Lunchtime! ...Which Bridge spends working on the design specs for his Inventiontronics project on the laptop, every so often absently taking a bite of the turkey sandwich he'd brought.

Fourth Period [02/21]

Turkey sandwich half-finished and forgotten, he's *still* poking at his project. Getting a look at Jen's scanners last week had cleared up a few questions, but there were still some issues he needed to work out before he could get started on construction.

G'Kar strolled into the library and walked directly to the counter, placing the book he'd checked out (http://community.livejournal.com/fandomhigh/1694397.html?thread=104183741#t104183741) on top.

"Hello," he greeted cheerily. "I need to return this book." Why yes, he was a fast reader.

"Hi!" Bridge says cheerfully. "Hopefully because you've finished reading it and not because you found it unsatisfactory. Though I suppose you could've finished and still found it unsatisfactory, but still. I also hope it didn't try and bite you or anything, though of course only books from Special Collections are likely to do that, and if you did have a book from Special Collections I'd have to ask how you managed that when it's against the rules, and then you'd probably be in trouble which would be bad because even though we've only just met you *seem* like a very nice guy and also, it's nice to meet you!" Bridge sticks out one gloved hand for handshake-y greeting-y purposes.

"Yes, I read the entire book. It was quite interesting. I suspect I'll be checking out another today as well." G'Kar listened intently to the rapid-fire speech, nodding occasionaly.

"Tell me, if you have a Special Collections section but it is against the rules to access such, why is it there? Would that not defeat the very nature of a library? How would one gain knowledge if they are forbidden from it?"

He smiled. "And you seem like a very nice if overly enthuastic young man. I am G'Kar." He shook the hand that was offered him, glancing briefly at the gloved hand. Before he realized it, he said, "You are a telepath." It was less of a question, more of a statement.

"Bridge Carson," he replies. "Cadet," he adds after a moment. "And... yeah? How'd you know?" he frowns in slight puzzlement before moving on to address the question of SC.

"Oh, it's not forbidden to *read* books from Special Collections. It's just that you need permission to go in there, and you can't take books *out*. They're too dangerous."
