Sam had a careful balancing act going on as he tried to hold on to the stack of books he was carrying and unlock the library at the same time.

Sam went ahead and checked his books in, only renewing a few of them to hold onto for a little longer.

Sam found that checking his e-mail was getting less entertaining as the holiday spam went back to creepy sex spam.

Sam stayed on the computer, browsing in search of potential good, clean birthday presents for Dean.

The library was closed for lunch to everyone except the librarian, the other aides, and Dean.

Sam still couldn't quite bring himself to expect a visit during this period, but that didn't stop him from hoping that a certain someone would be arriving soon with coffee.

Sam took a final sweep through the library to make sure he had everything cleaned up before he locked up.

Need coffee omg. Zzzzzzzz...

Someone was there. Someone had coffee. He was holding off on offering it though.

"So," Peter said, giving Sam an expectant look.

Sam smiled at Peter, and gave him a more curious look. "So what?" he asked.

"I'm not on your list?" Peter replied.

Cimorene was looking for a few particular books when she came into the library but was a little side tracked when she noticed how large it was. "Oh!"

"What list?" Sam asked, sounding confused.

"How soon you forget your radio broadcast," Peter said, making a tsking sound.

Realization hit Sam, and he turned red and facepalmed.

"I don't have a list," he said.

Sam heard the noise and looked up. "Hi," he said, giving the girl a little wave. "Can I help you?"

Peter ignored him, proceeding to look woeful and put-upon. "I'd think your best friend would at least merit an honorable mention but..." he sighed. "Guess I was wrong."

Sam sighed. "I promise, if I had a list of people I don't hate, you'd be on it."

"No, no, it's fine," Peter said. He pretended to sniffle. "I'm not hurt or anything. If I was, I'm sure I'd get over it someday."

After her class, Hoshi stopped by to do some additional research.

"You really get way too much enjoyment out of making fun of me," Sam said, narrowing his eyes at Peter.

"I really do," Peter said, grinning at him in a rather self-satisfied fashion. "Though you did forget to put me on your list. I may not share coffee with you now."

Sam looked up and grinned at Hoshi. "Hey! How are you?"

After class, Dean made his usual lunch stop at the library. "So are you still insane?" he asked Sammy as he sat down.

"Not bad," said Hoshi. "Hey, I'm taking your dad's class this semester."

Now it was Sam's turn to pout. "I didn't forget you. I don't have a list. I was just...I don't know what I was on Saturday. Temporarily crazy, I think."
