Keeping Your Wits About You... [Monday 2nd Period 10-11] Class # 13 DANGER ROOM

Once again they were meeting in the Danger Room!

Wilson was leaning against the table with all the morning treats, sipping his coffee and looking vaguely amused. As soon as everyone was gathered and had their coffee, tea, whatever he cleared his throat and called them over to listen to their latest Danger Room assignment.



"Good morning," he began, setting his coffee off to the side and putting his hands in his pockets.

"So far this semester, we've focused on keeping your wits about you when it was just yourself. Today we're going to tackle something infinitely more tricky."

Looking a bit rueful, he grinned at them.

"Today, you're going to be attempting to navigate ways to protect others who seem hell bent on self destruction. Believe me when I say, it will be hard to keep your wits calm, while at the same time trying to be one step ahead of the reckless behavior of others."

Something Wilson -coughthankyouHousecough- had plenty of experience with.

"As I call your name, you'll go into the scenario. I'd give you all hints about what's on the other side of that door but most of the time, these situations are feel it out as you go. Everybody ready? Okay. Good luck!"

"Lana and I were discussing the possibility of it being small children," Isabel admitted, bumping back. "Or it could be some of our classmates in a life or death situation. You know how that can go."

Chris most certainly did not shoot knowing glances in Wyatt or Savannah's direction when he heard the bit about people hell bent on self destruction.

Savannah was sitting, writing things down in a notebook as what appeared to be a dragon peeked through her hair to see what was going on.

Isabel blinked at dragon, took a head count around the room, realized who was missing, looked at the dragon again and started to laugh.

Yes, lemmings and it is the student's job to safely navigate the course for the lemmings.

Wyatt boggled for a few minutes, then kind of had fun directing the lemmings.

Until he found out he could blow them up.

He may have had to start over a few times.

Savannah shook her head as she tried both to help stop the lemmings -- and keep her wee boyfriend from setting them on fire with his sneezes.

Isabel boggled a lot as she helped the lemmings. She might have set off Armageddon once or twice just because she was amused by how they'd crouch down and blow up.

Savannah approached. "Dr. Wilson? Johnny won't be able to do much in class today on account he's a dragon." She pointed to said dragon that was on her shoulder with his neck wrapped along hers.
