Once again they were meeting in the Danger Room!

Wilson was leaning against the table with all the morning treats, sipping his coffee and looking vaguely amused. As soon as everyone was gathered and had their coffee, tea, whatever he cleared his throat and called them over to listen to their latest Danger Room assignment.

"Good morning," he began, setting his coffee off to the side and putting his hands in his pockets.

"So far this semester, we've focused on keeping your wits about you when it was just yourself. Today we're going to tackle something infinitely more tricky."

Looking a bit rueful, he grinned at them.

"Today, you're going to be attempting to navigate ways to protect others who seem hell bent on self destruction. Believe me when I say, it will be hard to keep your wits calm, while at the same time trying to be one step ahead of the reckless behavior of others."

Something Wilson -coughthankyouHousecough- had plenty of experience with.

"As I call your name, you'll go into the scenario. I'd give you all hints about what's on the other side of that door but most of the time, these situations are feel it out as you go. Everybody ready? Okay. Good luck!"

"I can fix that," she offered, wiggling her fingers at him.

Wyatt snickered. Why the hell not? "Go for it," he said.

"Any particular color?" Isabel grinned.

Wyatt thought it over. "Red?" he said.

"Surely." Slowly, she dragged two fingers over his chest, creating a neat, but very bright red W.

"How's that?"

He struck the pose again. "Do I look heroic and noble?" he said.

"You forgot gallant and devilishly handsome as well," Isabel replied.

"You are so good for my ego," Wyatt said, preening.

Smirking, she leaned in to whisper in his ear. "I'd offer to stroke your ego but I don't think Dr. Wilson would appreciate that."

Wyatt coughed. "You're mean," he said, but he was smiling.

Isabel looked smug. "I'm just terrible, I know."

Wyatt eyed Isabel, wondering if he could use his TK to orb her underwear out from under her clothes, and how much trouble he would get in if he did it. Could be worth it.

"You're plotting something," she said, eyeing him back. "What are you plotting?"

". . . nothing?" Wyatt said, batting his eyes.

"Yeah, sure," Isabel snickered. "Have I told you about my side job in real estate? I've got this bridge in Brooklyn that for sale."

"I'm a perfect angel," Wyatt protested.

She licked her lips and grinned. "Devil. Definitely a devil."

"With the underwear to prove it," Wyatt said, smirking.

"I might need to check that out after class," Isabel replied, thinking he meant he was wearing a pair of themed boxers.

"You are welcomed to," Wyatt offered. She'd be right, as since her gift to him, he'd added to the themed collection.

"I'd like that," she admitted. For the obvious reasons of course but also because she liked being with him. No matter what they did.

"Then we should hurry up and get through the door," Wyatt said, because snuggles times with the girlfriend was definite incentive.

"You first. Then you can tell me if it's anything really scary," Isabel told him. "After all, I'm just a delicate girl and need you to protect me."

"All right," Wyatt said. He kissed her cheek then went to take his turn. When he returned awhile later, his expression was part bewilderment, part amusement.
