Library [11/12]

Sam had enjoyed being at John and Aeryn's wedding over the weekend, but now that he was back and in school mode, he was thinking about his vision again, and what it might have meant. Luckily, he just so happened to have a whole library of books at his disposal today.

Sam was in the stacks, trying to figure out what section he wanted to start in.

He ended up looking at books about meditation and Eastern medicine, and that's where he was still.

The library was closed while Sam was in Religion class, unless someone else was around.

The library was closed for lunch, to everyone except Thursday, the aides, and potentially food-bearing brothers.

It had by now become a habit to drop by the library with lunch for his little brother and so here Dean was again. "Y'know I really wonder what you did for food before I started bringing you some," he said as he handed the bag over and sat down opposite Sammy.

"I used to bring my own lunch," Sam said. "Now I know I don't need to worry about it."

"I'm way too good to you," Dean said with a smirk.

Sam was taking a break, to check his e-mail, and to be available to greet anyone who might come in during this period.

Oh look, Peter just so happened to come in during this period. He also happened to come in with two coffee cups and a small paper bag. He made a beeline for the counter so he could see Sam. "Hey."

"Hey," Sam said, as happy to see Peter as always. "Is one of those for me," he asked, pointing to the cups, "or are you doubling up on caffeine today?"

Peter passed Sam one hazelnut coffee. "One of these is for you. We'll see if you get any of the donuts though."

Ronan staggered in, looking approximately like death warmed over. Or possibly just death. Since he'd left his room this morning, he'd started coughing a bit, and there were the beginnings of a rash down his arm. Seeing Peter, though, he smiled, focusing through the headache, and waved. "Hey," he said. Then coughed.

Peter blinked with surprise when he saw Ronan. Then he looked worried. "Hey. Are you okay?"

"What?" Cough. "Yeah, I'm... fine. Really." He shrugged. "How're you?" Followed by another coughing fit.

Sam took a much faster sweep of the library than usual before closing up.

"Hi," Dawn greeted him, then immediately started coughing. Her cheeks were flushed, but she was wearing what were obviously her heaviest sweaters, a hat, and fingerless gloves.

"Hey," Sam greeted her, immediately eying her with concern at her outfit. "Are you cold?"

She shivered. "Aren't you? I think the heat is broken."
