Construction Site: Thursday, 5/31, All Day

The site is still busy with NPC guys in hardhats and toolbelts running the heavy machinery, but an area's been set aside for the graduate workers to sort and stack some of the new loads of brick that have just been delivered. Hats, belts, eyewear and tools are provided as usual, as well as work-gloves in such fashionable color choices as orange, orange, or orange.

Workers and visitors might notice Xander eyeing the pink hardhat that might or might not have Conner's name on it now, but he isn't going to say anything. Considering Xander is now wearing the Galaxy Quest hat, who's he to judge?

Conner was here for his morning shift as usual. He still hadn't noticed that the hard hat with his name on it was pink (must be the power of color-denial), but he did frown a little at the orange gloves.

Still, nobody liked shredded-up hands, so he put them on and got to work sorting bricks.

Why yes, as a matter of fact, there was an Anders there to feed the hungry demon.

He was kind of hungry himself, too, so the basket was pretty well loaded.

Like Anders bought the innocent act. "No, but being blatant is part of your charm," he said, setting the stuffed picnic basket down on the table before he sat down next to Bel.

"Sure." He handed it over, and grabbed one of the yellow ones for himself.

"Lemonade, actually," Anders said with a chuckle. "He's stuck in the library today, so he asked if I could do him a favor. I figure making sure you don't die of dehydration is a pretty big favor."
