Construction Site: Thursday, 5/31, All Day

The site is still busy with NPC guys in hardhats and toolbelts running the heavy machinery, but an area's been set aside for the graduate workers to sort and stack some of the new loads of brick that have just been delivered. Hats, belts, eyewear and tools are provided as usual, as well as work-gloves in such fashionable color choices as orange, orange, or orange.

Workers and visitors might notice Xander eyeing the pink hardhat that might or might not have Conner's name on it now, but he isn't going to say anything. Considering Xander is now wearing the Galaxy Quest hat, who's he to judge?

Anders came up to Xander, hard hat firmly in place, holding a drink cooler in one hand. "Special delivery for Xander Harris via BFF-courier."

"Lemonade, actually," Anders said with a chuckle. "He's stuck in the library today, so he asked if I could do him a favor. I figure making sure you don't die of dehydration is a pretty big favor."

"Well yeah, it's up there with remembering to water the holographic plant, at least." Xander laughed and took a lemonade. "Thanks."

"He got me a holographic arm-eating alien plant." It should be clear to people with eyes or reasonable parallel evolutions thereof that Xander thought this was adorable. Yes, he's a little warped.

Xander burst out laughing. "I was going for 'in what ways will I find he's been warped' there. Admittedly, it'd be hard to tell."

Anders gaped at him for a few moments, then sagged in relief of the exaggerated sort that hovers between comic and pathetic. "Mostly? I worry that my influence makes him, you know, more normal."

Yeah, he's so delusional.
