Driver's Education - 3rd Period - 4/10

Upon entering the Danger shop, the students might notice something different. Any of them familiar with the X-Mansion in particular as that was what it now appeared to be. Instead of the cute little VW Deadmobile, there was the Blackbird jet ready for driving. Er... flying. Deadpool waved cheerfully at his students.

"Why hello there! Welcome to the team! I don't really recall signing up to train you kids, but sometimes I just get so darn confused as to which team I'm on, doncha know?"

For some reason, Deadpool was under the impression that he was training X-Men.

"I'm everyone's favorite brooding loner with a heart of gold, and I don't quite knoe why, but I'll be showing you how to fly the Blackbird. Sometimes it's tough being the most popular character out there, yah?"

And that he was a certain other Canadian from Weapon X.

"So, ay! Who wants to go first?"

"Well now missy, no need to get in a snit about it," Deadpool admonished. He looked at the controls on the plane and then back at Mel. "Well then, I guess we should get to work..."

Confident sounding? Not so much.

Oh, Deadpool could act as strange as he wanted if it meant they got to play with the Blackbird.

She stuck her hand up as soon as he finished talking. "I want to go first!" she said in answer to his question.

"So cool," Molly said as she went and sat in the pilot seat. She buckled herself in and grabbed hold of the steering wheel thing and looked around for the starter.

"How do I make it go?"

Deadverine scratched the side of his head, utterly at a loss for how to get it started. After a few awkward moments of reaching for buttons and then deciding they were the wrong ones, he finally pushed a big red one. The plane made a noise that might not be good. "Der we go, der!"

"Awesome," Molly said as she did some button pushing and stick shifting of her own. Luckily she found the right thing and got the Blackbird off of the ground without blowing them up.

Deadpool just rolled his eyes. "Well why would you want to ride a broom? That doesn't sound very safe at all."

It was true. They couldn't crash the plane with the most popular character in Marvel there. Hopefully.

Demyx bounced excitedly. "This is cool! It's like a gummi ship but it's all cool. Can I fly it??" Bad idea. Very, very bad idea.

Deadpool was not in his right mind. He didn't know this was a bad idea.

This... can't end well.

"Of course you can fly it! Why else would I be here, ay?"

"SWEET!" Demyx spun around, jacket flaring out around him - which was, of course, the whole purpose for spinning anyway. "Even after you got all pissed at me for what I did to your car?"

Deadpooline really wasn't sure what the over excited kid was talking about, but he nodded anyway. Maybe Wanda went crazy again and altered reality. Again. Who knew?

"Try not to do that to the jet, ay?"

Door stares at the plane with wide eyes. "That looks fast enough that we wouldn't have to throw porn out the windows to get away from the Man."

Deadpooline just blinked a few times to wrap his brain around that sentence.

"Why would we want to throw porn at anyone, ay?"

"To distract them?" Door wonders if he's been hit on the head recently. Door wonders this a lot, actually. "I'd prefer to keep it, obviously." With a hopeful look, she adds, "Did you bring me some?"

"Professor? Please, please can I go next? I swear I remember everything about safety checks and landings and what not to do from Flight Club!" She looked around for someone who could back her up, and added, "Which anyone who had seen me fly could tell you!"

Somewhere in the back of Deadverine's mind there was a mercenary crying at the though of her flying. Anything.

"Well sure den!"

"YAY!" Evie buckled in and went through the flight check-- bumping a few levers and switches along the way. "Ooops. What does this one do?"

The weapons on board started to warm up before setting a tree in front of them on fire.
