Driver's Education - 3rd Period - 4/10

Upon entering the Danger shop, the students might notice something different. Any of them familiar with the X-Mansion in particular as that was what it now appeared to be. Instead of the cute little VW Deadmobile, there was the Blackbird jet ready for driving. Er... flying. Deadpool waved cheerfully at his students.

"Why hello there! Welcome to the team! I don't really recall signing up to train you kids, but sometimes I just get so darn confused as to which team I'm on, doncha know?"

For some reason, Deadpool was under the impression that he was training X-Men.

"I'm everyone's favorite brooding loner with a heart of gold, and I don't quite knoe why, but I'll be showing you how to fly the Blackbird. Sometimes it's tough being the most popular character out there, yah?"

And that he was a certain other Canadian from Weapon X.

"So, ay! Who wants to go first?"

The weapons on board started to warm up before setting a tree in front of them on fire.

Deadpooline stared.

"...oops." A pause. "Cool!"

"Yah, sure. Cool." What was wrong with these students? "How about you try taking off, ay?"

"Okay! Ay!" Evie said, imitating his new accent, and slooooooowly taxing down the runway. Aeryn would recognize this maneuver.

Would she also fell that creeping sense of terror as it happened?

Deadpooline frowned and sat back in his seat. Why did they all make fun of the way he talked, ay?

"Aaaaaaaaaaaannnnnddd YES!" The Blackbird didn't need a long taxi time, which was a good thing, because they barely cleared the water tower on the next property with how slowly Evie was pulling up-- until that last second. "Wheee! Oh, Professor, it's so quick to do what you want it to do! How fast can it go?"

Really damn fast.

Without even thinking, he replied, "Oh pretty darn fast, that's fer sure!"

"Then I'm really going to get it going--"

And that would be the point at which lights started flashing, blinky blinky blink.

"..oh dear."

That couldn't be good. "Did you push the weapons button again?"

"No! That is... which one is that?"

"I don't know..." He watched as a missile appeared on the wing. "Oh dear."

"Uh... ohhhhhhh my gosh--"

BOOM!

"Maybe I better land the plane and oh dear that barn looked expensive and perhaps they didn't see it was and oh, gosh, ohhhh, dear--"
