Remembering that Sammy was in the library today, Dean gathered up the things (http://disneyshopping.go.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/DSIProductDisplay?catalogId=10002&storeId=10051&productId=1196191&langId=-1&categoryId=11864) he (http://disneyshopping.go.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/DSIProductDisplay?catalogId=10002&storeId=10051&productId=1200258&langId=-1&categoryId=11831) got (http://disneyshopping.go.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/DSIProductDisplay?catalogId=10002&storeId=10051&productId=1200696&langId=-1&categoryId=11863) for his brother and headed down there.

"Hey," he said as he came in and saw Sammy intent on the computer. "What's so interesting?" he asked, moving to try and take a look at the screen.

Sam glanced up and quickly tried to turn the monitor off, before Dean could see what he was doing. "Uh, nothing really," he said. "What are you doing here?"

"Can't I stop by and visit my brother?" Dean asked, even more curious now considering Sammy's reaction. "What, were you watching porn or something?"

"Dean! I don't watch porn while I'm working." In his defensiveness, he might have stopped blocking the monitor.

Dean got a look at the screen. "Computer games?" He looked closer. "Dude, did you make a sim of Alec?"

"No," Sam lied, getting more defensive. "That's one of the Sims that was in there when I started the game." He shifted in his seat and tried to change the subject. "So, do you need a book, or are you just coming to say hi?"

Dean held up the large bag he'd brought, the Disney emblem clearly visible on it. "I come bearing gifts," he said, grinning as he handed the bag over.

Sam grinned as he took the bag, and suddenly felt a little guilty for all of the simulated Alec murder. Just a little guilty though.

"So you did manage to do some shopping among all the imp-killing, huh?" He laughed, his grin getting broader when he pulled out the hoodie and bracelet. "These are awesome, thank you."

Dean grinned at him. "You didn't think I was going to forget you, did ya?"

"No, but I wasn't expecting you to bring anything back either. You didn't have to," Sam explained.

Dean shrugged still smiling. "I wanted to."

"Well, thank you," Sam said again, smiling further when he saw the messenger bag. "This bag will be perfect for my laptop. I'd crack a computer piracy joke, but you'd probably just mock me."

"Nah. I'd just ask you if you wanted a parrot."

"See, mocking." Sam smirked as he snapped the cuff bracelet around his wrist. "Thank you, seriously."

"Y'welcome," Dean told him. "You didn't seriously think I wasn't going to bring you anything back, did you?"

Sam shrugged. "I don't know. I wasn't sure if you'd be too busy enjoying your vacation time, and the company you were with."

Dean shook his head, still smiling. "I'm not going to forget about you, Sammy, just because I'm with Alec. Promise."

"I know," he said, sounding more convinced than he felt sometimes.

"You better," Dean told him.

"I worry less when you bring me presents," he teased.

Dean chuckled. "You turning mercanary on me, little brother?"

"That's such a negative word. I think opportunistic is much more appropriate." He had to admit, it was reassuring to know that Dean really had thought of him while he was away, and wasn't just occupied with Alec.

Dean reached over and mussed up Sammy's hair. "So you going to give me a list of things you want next time I roadtrip without you?"

Sam made a protesting noise and swatted at Dean's hand before pushing his hair back into place. "That depends. Are you planning on roadtripping without me a lot?"

"Nah," Dean said, grinning at his brother. "I mean we're a team aren't we? Just have to adjust so there's room for Alec and Dawn, without anyone killing anyone."
