There was yarn on the tables again. Lots of yarn and crocheting needles. There were also handy guides, and next to Emma on her desk? A box.

Once everyone had found a seat, Emma put her hand in the box and then held up a plain blue dildo. "Today, my dears, you will learn crocheting. You will learn the basics, and the aim will be to --" Her hand went back down into the box and came up with a green crocheted thing with teeth. "-- Make a dildo cozy. If you are uncertain about the shapes or number of loops you will need, I have a collection of dildos in this box which you may borrow."

She looked around serenely. "As you might know, we have a visit from the school board this week. Please treat any possible visitors to the class with respect and answer their questions."

Dawn took picked some yarn, a crochet hook, and a dildo at random. Think banana, not boyfriend, think banana, not boyfriend, think banana, not boyfriend

Luckily, this distracted her enough that she was actually able to get the hang of crocheting.

Alec poked at her from behind with his dildo ~~as you do~~.

Dawn eeped, whirled around, and brandished her dildo like a stake, aiming it for Alec's heart. "Don't do that!"

He leaned back, grinning. "Don't what? Do you think anyone's thought about where these have been?"

"Oh, gah, Alec!" Dawn dropped hers to the desk and wiped her hands off on her jeans. "I think I need to be fumigated."

"She said they were cleaned," Alec said quite innocently.

"If they're hers, there's only one place they went, right?" So very clueless. "Still not picking it up, though."

"I think you can put them wherever you want," Alec said helpfully. "And girls have more options than guys." He paused and grimaced. "I think so, anyway."

"Where do guys put them?" Dawn asked.

"Um." Alec didn't glance at Dean. "I guess where they'd put the real thing. A real penis not a tentacle - I've never seen a real tentacle and they're not going anywhere near me."

"TENTACLES????" That was probably a little loud.

Alec blinked and held his chosen dildo (http://pics.livejournal.com/x5_alec/pic/0001we7h/g5) up for Dawn to see.

Dawn stared, then whispered, "Why is it shaped like that?"

"I was wondering the same thing," Alec said, turning it around to look at it again. "Dean said it's like having condoms that are ribbed."

"How does he..." Dawn started blushing to an almost radioactive degree as she realized what she was asking. "Y'know what? I don't know that I need to know how he knows what either of those things are like. And are ribbed condoms better?"

Alec shrugged. "They're okay. Different. I think they were kind of distracting," he said, grinning. "I didn't know you could get that red."

"Distracting?" Dawn frowned, then thwapped him with the dildo again. "And shut up, it's a gift."

He snickered. "Yeah, distracting." Alec waved his own dildo as he thought about it. "They feel good, but they're... extra? Distracting."

Dawn blinked slowly, mesmerized by the action of the dildo in motion. "I think I need to try out the bunny hill before I worry about distractions."

"The what hill?" Alec blinked as well, confused.

"The bunny hill?" Dawn explained, "Like where you start when you're new to skiing so you don't fall down and break something. It's not as steep."

"I thought we were talking about sex?"

"It's a meta-thingy," she shrugged. "Like, I'm the beginner in this scenario."

Alec looked surprised. "You and Sam still haven't...?" He trailed off, thankfully, perhaps sensitive to the fact that Dawn's face could only get so red.

Alec may have thought Dawn's face could only get so red, but she moved on from red into purplish. "No. We haven't," she shook her head.
