"Welcome, one and all, to the first school assembly of the new semester! In case you haven't met me yet, I am The Tick! Dean of Students here at Fandom High. That means that where student issues are concerned, I am the parking attendant in the self park garage of your education!"

"Today, we have a special in the garage! It's a special that speaks of a different kind of special you might get in a seedier garage. Today's special is called DANK: Drugs Are Not Kool! Spelling is cool, of course, but sometimes you have to make an exception and spell something with a 'k' to work. Anyway, we will have several speakers this afternoon, guiding your car into a parking space of a clean and healthy life! Please welcome our guests!"

[OOC: Each speaker will have their own thread, plus there will be a Q&A thread at the end of the post for them to ping into. Also, since it seems appropriate this time, there will be a thread for after the assembly to speak to the guests a bit more privately. Please wait to ask the speakers questions until the speakers have pinged in.

"I suppose you all have questions," Smith said. "And I suppose I could bring myself to answer them."

Pippi raises her hand, waving it around and bouncing it a little.

"...yes, Miss Longstocking?" Smith responded.

"Had any new and interesting pies?"

"There is no pie as good as the apple," Smith said. "Others are merely a waste."

"If they made a drug out of apple pie, would you oppose it?"

"Yes."

"What does the red pill do?"

"Bad things," Smith said.

"... Such as?"

"As I stated, it causes death," Smith said.

"Well, obviously not right away. Seems like a long gestation time for death."

"Ah, but yet it is still inevitable."

"Um, that red pill. Couldn't Mr. Anderson just have been put in a rehabilitation clinic or something? I mean, the whole bullet in the brain, that was just for show, right? To get your point across about the red pill?"

"No, it was to put down the man who tried to kill me by throwing me in front of a subway," Smith replied.

Blink.

"So, about that red pill, what is it exactly, because I have never heard of just a red pill?" She narrowed her eyes trying to peer beyond the dark lense of his glasses. It would be prudent to know exactly where he was looking.

"Are you not familiar with metaphors Miss Hargrove?"

Yes, he knew her name already.

She frowned and ignored his sarcasm.

"How do you know my name?" Because that was really important right now.

"Now that would be telling," Smith replied.

"Exactly." She said.

"Ever hear of an orginization called Cobra?"

"If I did, what makes you think I'd share that information with you?" Smith replied.

Best. Poker Face. Ever. The man gave away nothing. Good for him. "It's been declassified. All over the news where I'm from. The crazy coats seemed like their style."

Smith smirked. "It may, but you would be mistaken to associate these two elements together."

That answered his question. "Thanks." he said, and sat down.
