Fandom High Holiday Pageant 2006, Friday afternoon, The Auditorium

Once everyone was seated, The Tick walked out onto the stage wearing a keen tux. He was ready to celebrate the holidays in style.

"Welcome, chums, to the 2006 Fandom High Holiday Pageant! This year, we're looking to make the pageant as broad as possible, covering several different holidays with several different methods of educating us all with fun! It's Funducation, not to be confused with Funded Education!"

"On the Holiday Tree of Funducation, information is the presents, and you are the children gathered around, hoping for the Hanukkah Wii of Information, or the X-Mas-Box of Knowledge! Our volunteers are the ornaments, making sure the Tree is shiny and festive! The participating classes are the lights that illuminate with organization and color! And I," Tick said, grinning broadly, "am a jolly man in a blue suit! I am not just your Master of Ceremonies tonight, I am also your Santa of Ceremonies! So please allow me to welcome you to this year's Tree of Funducation, the Holiday Pageant!"

[OOC: Please wait for and then follow the OCD. There is a thread for each performance, and then a Performance and Audience sub-thread for each. Please use the subthreads. Pretty self explanatory. Everyone should know what they're doing and which thread they're doing it in, hopefully. If, for some reason, we have threads that are not pinged into as of really late Friday night, I may get creative and randomly recruit people at the last minute if it doesn't Joss them just to make sure the pageant stands as being complete.

I'd like to say thank you in advance to all of my volunteers and I can't wait to see what you put together!]

Mac couldn't help but stare at the jazzhanding troll as she found a seat. Even without seeing them at the weekend when they were thumping around and kidnapping people, that was damn weird.

Cally sat down next to Mac.

"Oh, it is so good to not be on stage for this."

Peter stared at the troll while find a seat. Because troll. Dancing. It didn't particularly compute.

Jaye's just kind of thrilled to not be in the pageant this year, but that doesn't mean she won't come and show her support for people by laughing at them. Though pageantry isn't really out of her blood as she sees the troll and automatically jazz handses back at him.

She takes a seat, armed with gummi bears.

As was becoming usual at these kind of events, Sam took a seat next to Jaye. Yeah, she was supposed to be onstage with the rest of the dance class, but there was no way she was going to do a salsa Sugar Plum fairy dance with injuries. "Missed you last weekend," she said conversationally.

Aeryn has absolutely no idea what to expect this year, which is why she's here. Also, she might be itching to go after the troll, whether it's jazz handsing or not. Maybe she can fight it later...

Zuko blinked at the troll on the stage and was seriously contemplating setting him on fire.

Door blinks, but in her case it's to see a familiar face. After a second to consider the wisdom of it all, she shrugs and waves at the dancing troll with a grin. It might look like she's jazz-handsing, though in fact she's fingerwiggling.

Wilson had a video camera possibly handwavey from Pippi, possibly not and a latte and he was finding a seat down close where he could get the best possible shots of the pagent.

Janice had no sooner taken her seat than she recognized the troll up on stage and leapt back up, knocking her hat off her head in the flailing.

"YOU!!!"

Considering trolls are the reason Shawn is on crutches right now, he's not especially thrilled to hear they're keeping one around.

He hobbles in and sits down anyway. The jazz hands do make it seem less threatening though, even he has to admit that.

Cameron was at the pageant. He hoped he had time to watch through the entire show before he had to catch his plane.

Add Molly to the group of people who stared at the troll dancing on the stage. This one certainly wasn't as imposing as the one she ran into.

She found a seat and watched the troll carefully for any signs that it might attack or anything.

Hey, a girl could hope.

Summer was at the pageant and, like others, was staring at the troll. She wished she had remembered to bring her camera.

Feeling the consideration for his crippled company to be greater than the consideration for the first few rows behind him, Chad took a rare seat up front so Jude wouldn't have to climb up any of the bleachers. He took one at the end, though, so he'd be a little more out of the way.

Teddy found a seat, but not before gawking at the dancing troll. That was so much worse than choreographed gang members.

Will had settled into her seat and pulled out a camera before she noticed the troll dancing on stage. The surprising sight caused her to just sit and stare at it for a good three minutes. She'd never suspected they could do jazzhands so well.

"Huh. So they aren't all green after all."

Zero found herself a good seat with an unobstructed view for the first part of the performance and looked around for somebody who could take over filming when she had to go back to be a dancing pagan.

Naomi was more concerned about the fact that she had detention tomorrow again and so she wasn't really paying attention to the troll as she found a seat.

Peter took a seat, partially to bump up the comment count to 500.

And then he saw the dancing troll. "Oh. My. God."
