Once everyone was seated, The Tick walked out onto the stage wearing a keen tux. He was ready to celebrate the holidays in style.

"Welcome, chums, to the 2006 Fandom High Holiday Pageant! This year, we're looking to make the pageant as broad as possible, covering several different holidays with several different methods of educating us all with fun! It's Funducation, not to be confused with Funded Education!"

"On the Holiday Tree of Funducation, information is the presents, and you are the children gathered around, hoping for the Hanukkah Wii of Information, or the X-Mas-Box of Knowledge! Our volunteers are the ornaments, making sure the Tree is shiny and festive! The participating classes are the lights that illuminate with organization and color! And I," Tick said, grinning broadly, "am a jolly man in a blue suit! I am not just your Master of Ceremonies tonight, I am also your Santa of Ceremonies! So please allow me to welcome you to this year's Tree of Funducation, the Holiday Pageant!"

[OOC: Please ~~wait for and then~~ follow the OCD. There is a thread for each performance, and then a Performance and Audience sub-thread for each. Please use the subthreads. Pretty self explanatory. Everyone should know what they're doing and which thread they're doing it in, hopefully. If, for some reason, we have threads that are not pinged into as of really late Friday night, I may get creative and randomly recruit people at the last minute if it doesn't Joss them just to make sure the pageant stands as being complete.

Jaye frowns. "I never ever remember Anders is a Sam. He's just Anders," she explains. "And I have no idea, unless it's for the maybe-obvious reason that will make me sound bitter and weird. All I know is that they don't carry membership cards for the other's fan club."

"Maybe-obvious reason?" Sam asked, giving Jaye her best buh? face, "and weird. I mean, Alec looks just like Sam's brother. You'd think it would make Sam predisposed to like him."

"Well, he's also kinda... with his brother and Alec's not always the nicest of people," says Jaye. Gee, can't imagine how they ever got along...

"Kinda with?" Even after all this time in Fandom, and being involved with a guy who was dating another guy, Sam wasn't really getting it. "And nice all the time is boring."

"Yeah. ...with," she says, using emphatic facial gestures to try and get her point across.

Sam's eyes widened. "Oh. I, um, see."

"This is what I'm saying," Jaye says with a nod.

"They should make gummi bears with alcohol in them," Sam decided rather abruptly.

"They should!" Jaye says, immediately going with it. "Like jell-o shots, but in gummi bear form."

"Yes!" And this was part of why Sam continued to hang out with Jaye. But only a small part. "Maybe we could make little jell-o shots in bear shapes. All we'd need is a mold..."

"We have to," Jaye says. "We're Seahorsibly obligated. Where do we get a mold? I know nothing."

"We could always make one out of silicone," Sam said after a minute of thought, "but it might be easier to check the bar and cooking supply warehouses first."

"You think they'd really have gummi bear molds?" she says. "Maybe we can knock over a gummi factory."

"We can look online before we go," Sam said, confident in her google-fu.

"I'm kind of scared what a Goodle search for 'gummi mold' will turn up."

Sam blinked at Jaye again. "I wasn't."

"Well, now you have a new web fear, courtesy of me."

"Thank you?"

"Totally welcome," she says, popping a gummi bear into her mouth.

"Be better if it was made of tequila," Sam remarked.

"Noooo, tequila bad," frowns Jaye. "Vodka, I think."

"Maybe," Sam conceded, "otherwise the colors start to change."

"Yeah, you don't want your gummi drink looking disgusting," she says.

"Well, now I have a project for after detention tomorrow," Sam decided.

"Did you do something bad?" Jaye asks.
