Monday, December 4, First Period

There are plenty of bakery items and hot beverages laid out, but the classroom appears to have been rearranged. The chairs and tables are moved to the walls, leaving the center of the room open.

"Good morning, everyone! I want to remind you all that I will be leaving briefly for an assignment. In my absence, Dr Wilson will be conducting class, with the assistance of my TAs. Now today, in lieu of a regular lecture, we're instead going to be rehearsing for the pageant on Friday."

Anders shot Walter a slightly betrayed look, and went back to facepalming.

Anders gave Bel a 'bitch, please' look. Or maybe it was a 'don't think I've forgotten how you kicked me out of bed' look. "I have been over this story with you," he pointed out. "Several times, I think."

Bel smirked. "Oh yeah," he said. "You have." He didn't look a little pleased by the memory, not at all.

Nadia popped a couple of tylenol and looked over the words to the songs again. She was a decent singer, but she'd never really sung in a group before.

John sighed and tapped a chair with his cane.

"Okay, peoples, why don't we give this a shot. Phale mentioned that he wanted it done a cappella, but I'm thinking no. So. Music. And possible beatbox, boyeeeee. Who can sing? Without having to carry the tune in a bucket?"
