Good Omens...And Bad: Prophecy in Theory and Practice, Class Thirteen

Monday, December 4, First Period

There are plenty of bakery items and hot beverages laid out, but the classroom appears to have been rearranged. The chairs and tables are moved to the walls, leaving the center of the room open.

"Good morning, everyone! I want to remind you all that I will be leaving briefly for an assignment. In my absence, Dr Wilson will be conducting class, with the assistance of my TAs. Now today, in lieu of a regular lecture, we're instead going to be rehearsing for the pageant on Friday."

[ooc: Please wait for OCD is up. Rehearse!]

"PLEASE tell me that's not part of the costuming?" John facepalmed.

"It damn well better not be!" Anders nearly flailed.

"As choral director, I insist on clothes. Clothing clothes, and not historically accurate loincloths." John couldn't flail on crutches.

"I completely agree," Anders insisted. "One pageant with nakedness was enough, man. More than enough."

"I don't want to know. And if there's any clad that are scanty, I don't want it to be manflesh." John does not look pointedly between Anders and Bel, nor does he wonder who pitches on that team.

Instead, he does a mental shudder.

Good thing he's not wondering, or he'd be subject to a probably ridiculously overdone analysis of that particular baseball analogy.

"In this class? It'd be kind of wrong anyway," Anders remarked.

"I'd love to see a class where it'd be right." JOhn does not get distracted for a minute in his appreciation of the student body.

Not Anders, either. Nope. Ignore the sudden glazed-eyed look. "Yeah. That'd be awesome."

John doesn't notice the drool. It's a delayed reaction from breaking his leg. It's right there in the medical books. Uh huh. He'll be in his bunk.
