Ethics [Thursday, November 30, 6th period]

Krycek was there before class started, drinking coffee and looking over the helpful notes Vader had left for his use. He was getting rather used to having classes abandoned to his care partway through the curriculum.

As soon as everyone was seated, he stood up and got everyone's attention. "Some of you may have noticed that your Ethics teacher isn't here, and as much as you might miss him, I decided to forego wearing the bucket over my head just to console you.

"Continuing from last week, we're talking about a new set of the Seven Deadly Sins," he said, pointing to the board where they were written in large, neat lettering. "Lust, sloth and greed - or avarice, if you prefer. Dictionary definition is, of course, available in the dictionary down in the library if you don't know what that means."

Krycek shrugged at everyone. "Since I'm not exactly going to be inspiring the kind of discussion we've been having in this class so far, why don't we just make Vader a point of discussion. Was it one of these sins that contributed to his amazing lack of sense of humor? Which of these three your vice of choice?"

[OOC: OCD is coming soon up. Around all day, feel free to make things difficult for Krycek for being the Ethics TA :)]

Tyler put his sneakers on the desk in front of him. "I guess greed's my sin," he said. "And Vader? Maybe if he wasn't in that suit, he could deal with his lust and he'd have more fun."

Yes, Tyler Durden thinks Darth Vader needs to get laid. Ironies abound.

River didn't feel very lustful, slothy or greedy. But thinking about them, she decided that lust sounded the most fun.

Thinking about Vader, she frowned. "Greed perhaps, but not solely."

Apparently Jamie's sin of choice is sloth because he's sleeping in class.

"Lust or greed? Lust is just greed for the pleasures of the flesh," Bel said. "Either one works."

"Re: Vader, he doesn't seem to fit lust or sloth, so I'll say that avarice has lead to his less than humorous shortcomings." D'anna rested her elbows on her desk, folded her hands together, rested her chin on her interlaced fingers and ever so lightly smirked. "So, what would it take to get you to wear a bucket over your head?"

"I think Lord Vader is greedy for attention. Or possibly some psychiatric help. And anger managment." Not that she knew anything about that. "My vice of choice? Hmm...not any of the three, actually. Definetly not sloth nor greed, at least."

"Hmmm." Sam couldn't decide. Sloth wasn't really her thing, but there was something to be said for occasionally sleeping in, and when did lust become a sin, instead of just a normal human reaction. And then she thought of technology, and speeder bikes, and motorcycles...maybe it wasn't that tough. "Greed."

"As for Vader, I'm not sure he knows about sins other than wrath."

Aeryn isn't greedy, isn't lazy, and would actually be perfectly fine without lust if it wasn't for the fact that she conveniently has a boyfriend for that sort of thing. "None of those really fit me," she says, and unlike the last class, she's serious. Notice how she's also ignoring the other part of the question.

Seely grinned. "Lust."

"I guess I can be lustful. And slothful," Zero added thoughtfully. "I'm not really greedy, though."

"An' I think Vader was a very angry person. If he was a person. Did we ever get actual confirmation on that?"

"Sloth for me. And I'm not sure which applies to Vader, as 'fucktard' isn't a vice."

Stark wasn't sure which, if any, of these vices fit him. After considering the options for a while, he shrugged.

"Out of those three? Don't know, really. Greed. I suppose."

"Sloth," Rory said shortly.
