Ethics [Thursday, November 30, 6th period]

Krycek was there before class started, drinking coffee and looking over the helpful notes Vader had left for his use. He was getting rather used to having classes abandoned to his care partway through the curriculum.

As soon as everyone was seated, he stood up and got everyone's attention. "Some of you may have noticed that your Ethics teacher isn't here, and as much as you might miss him, I decided to forego wearing the bucket over my head just to console you.

"Continuing from last week, we're talking about a new set of the Seven Deadly Sins," he said, pointing to the board where they were written in large, neat lettering. "Lust, sloth and greed - or avarice, if you prefer. Dictionary definition is, of course, available in the dictionary down in the library if you don't know what that means."

Krycek shrugged at everyone. "Since I'm not exactly going to be inspiring the kind of discussion we've been having in this class so far, why don't we just make Vader a point of discussion. Was it one of these sins that contributed to his amazing lack of sense of humor? Which of these three your vice of choice?"

[OOC: OCD is coming soon up. Around all day, feel free to make things difficult for Krycek for being the Ethics TA :)]

"I don't know what the sin is, but the problem is that stuff overwhelms you. You get all wrapped up in your flat-screen TV or the quest for the perfect jeans and you forget life can be anything more. It's like walking death." Tyler may have thought about this a few times. "I fight it in myself."

The glare was back, though Tyler's tone remained mild. "Integrity. Alertness. Not everything's about being happy."

"Maybe," Tyler said. "Do you believe just doing whatever makes you happy is right?"

"Not even close," Tyler said, eyes steady.
