Krycek was there before class started, drinking coffee and looking over the helpful notes Vader had left for his use. He was getting rather used to having classes abandoned to his care partway through the curriculum.

As soon as everyone was seated, he stood up and got everyone's attention. "Some of you may have noticed that your Ethics teacher isn't here, and as much as you might miss him, I decided to forego wearing the bucket over my head just to console you.

"Continuing from last week, we're talking about a new set of the Seven Deadly Sins," he said, pointing to the board where they were written in large, neat lettering. "Lust, sloth and greed - or avarice, if you prefer. Dictionary definition is, of course, available in the dictionary down in the library if you don't know what that means."

Krycek shrugged at everyone. "Since I'm not exactly going to be inspiring the kind of discussion we've been having in this class so far, why don't we just make Vader a point of discussion. Was it one of these sins that contributed to his amazing lack of sense of humor? Which of these three your vice of choice?"

[OOC: OCD is ~~coming soon~~ up. Around all day, feel free to make things difficult for Krycek for being the Ethics TA :)]

Tyler put his sneakers on the desk in front of him. "I guess greed's my sin," he said. "And Vader? Maybe if he wasn't in that suit, he could deal with his lust and he'd have more fun."

Yes, Tyler Durden thinks Darth Vader needs to get laid. Ironies abound.

River Tam

River didn't feel very lustful, slothy or greedy. But thinking about them, she decided that lust sounded the most fun.

Thinking about Vader, she frowned. "Greed perhaps, but not solely."

Jamie Madrox

Apparently Jamie's sin of choice is sloth because he's sleeping in class.

"So what would make you a shining example of greed," Krycek asked as he moved to push Tyler's feet off the desk. "And your opinion is that repressing his urge to sin is is problem, rather than the overindulgence?"

"Greed how?" Krycek remembered Vader's note on River and gave her a slightly wary, but thoughtful look.

To which, Krycek answered with a dry eraser pitched at Jamie's head.

The eraser bounced off Jamie's head creating another sleeping Jamie on the floor.

And if Jamie was smart he would've remembered he talks in his sleep.

"I don't want to see Darth Vader inna bikini!"

"Power," River said. "Over others. Leading them astray." She smiled.

Belthazor

"Lust or greed? Lust is just greed for the pleasures of the flesh," Bel said. "Either one works."

Jack Harkness

Tyler glared at Krycek but let his feet be moved. "I think I'm greedy because I want the world my way," he said. "And I used to want stuff. So much goddamn stuff, with the right brand names and the right labels."

He scratched the back of his neck. "I think sinning in a way other than wrath might be good for the professor."

After class ended Jamie woke up and approached Krycek with a giant yawn. "Hey since Vader's not around will you sign my permission slip to miss class the week of December 10th?"

"If you want to put it that way, then gluttony's just being greedy for food and drink," Krycek pointed out. "And sloth's just greed for the pleasures of sleep and laziness."

"Gah," Krycek said, shuddering as he nudged Jamie under his own chair, out of the way.

"So why would that be a bad thing, really? You want things, things that'll make your life easier, more bearable. What's the sin in that?"

Krycek smirked. "And I agree."
