"Tell me about it. Especially considering this is my no-class-sleep-in day." Dean yawned again. "Dad called, woke me up. Said to meet him here with you, that he was bringing breakfast." He shrugged. "I wasn't awake enough to argue."
Dean shrugged again. "Damned if I know." But he exchanged a look with Sam. "Gotta be important though. Dad's not really one for 'I've called you all together to tell you what a great job you've been doing. Carry on,' sort of meetings."
Dean frowned. "You don't think that's what this is, do you? I mean, he seems to be happy here. He did the dunk tank at the carnival. That's not something someone thinking of leaving gets into is it?"
Dean wandered into the library, looking miffed and carrying a pile of books. He saw that Sam was manning the desk today, and couldn't decide whether to be pleased or to run away screaming. He didn't particularly want to dwell on the whole carnival-bet-issue, but he needed major help in World History. "Hey, so I was planning on looking up books about the English Civil War. But you're here, and I think I'm entitled to some notes. So looks like I got off easy."
Sam glanced up and tried to figure out whether or not he was pleased to see Dean. "You might want to look for those books anyway," he said as he flipped through his notebook to look for the latest ones from World History. "You may be entitled to my notes, but they'll only get you so far." He pulled the notes out and handed them to Dean with a weak smile. "By the way, I'm sorry if my brother freaked you out at the carnival."
"Every little bit helps, though," he said, taking the notes with relief. He'd go photocopy them and bring them back when he got the chance. "And freaked out is, uh. An understatement. I take it told you about. Um. It?" Dean blushed, even though he was trying really, really hard not to.
"Me too, obviously," he muttered, lips tingling residually. "But hey, I figure it must be twice as weird for you two as it is for me. I mean, your brother kissed a guy who looks exactly like you. And not, um. Shyly, either." He shrugged, not even bothering to fathom what sort of crazy was going on there.
"He was calling your bluff, I think. And he argued that it was a kissing booth, so he had to kiss everyone. Plus, I think he just enjoyed weirding you out, 'cause he's an ass like that." That was Sam's story, and he was sticking to it.

Re: First Period [10/11]
Oh, right. He'd switched days with Sam. He gives the other boy a sleepy wave before turning around to head back to bed.
