Sam tried to carefully balance all of the books he was carrying in one arm as he opened up the library.

"Every little bit helps, though," he said, taking the notes with relief. He'd go photocopy them and bring them back when he got the chance. "And freaked out is, uh. An understatement. I take it told you about. Um. It?" Dean blushed, even though he was trying really, really hard not to.

"The fact that he actually kissed you? Yeah, he told me," Sam admitted. "In my defense, that's the last thing I expected him to do."

"Me too, obviously," he muttered, lips tingling residually. "But hey, I figure it must be twice as weird for you two as it is for me. I mean, your brother kissed a guy who looks exactly like you. And not, um. Shyly, either." He shrugged, not even bothering to fathom what sort of crazy was going on there.

"He was calling your bluff, I think. And he argued that it was a kissing booth, so he had to kiss everyone. Plus, I think he just enjoyed weirding you out, 'cause he's an ass like that." That was Sam's story, and he was sticking to it.

"Right." Dean was willing to buy that, even if. Well, if someone who looked like his little sister tried to get him to make out with her, there wouldn't be a force on the planet that would make him do it. "Well he definitely succeeded in that. Even if I wouldn't go that far, myself. I take it he dunked you good, though, huh?" He grinned. Oh, sibling rivalry.

"I'm sure there's a limit to how far Dean will go with some things, but it's pretty far out there. And yes," he said, rolling his eyes, "he thoroughly enjoyed dunking me. I'm never volunteering again."

Dean nodded, and grinned despite himself. "I told you it was crazy. Even if you can work the drowned rat look."

"And I guess it was all balanced out by the fact that my girlfriend seemed to enjoy seeing me wet, so..." Sam couldn't help but grin at that.

"Always a good thing," Dean agreed, trying not to be too bitter about Rory being long-distance. "Alec was macking on my not-girlfriend, which was maybe not so cool, though. I mean, I know this Rory is different from my Rory, but it's still weird."

"I have to say, I'm really glad there isn't a different version of anyone I know here. That would just get really confusing," Sam said. "Just remember that this Rory really isn't the one you know...and don't be too offended, because Alec macks on anything that stands still long enough for him to do so."
