"Bel really is handy to have around," Cameron replied even if he was slightly wistful about what Veronica had told him. "I just don't want him to get tired of being used like that. I'm sure it'd get annoying for him if people keep bugging him to get a ride to somewhere."

"I get that," Isabel agreed. "That's why I put up with traveling home to Roswell by plane and save bugging Bel for when I really need it. Like going to visit Angel."

Cameron nodded in agreement. "Did Angel mention his holidays plans to you?"

"No he didn't. I'm almost afraid to ask," she said, curious.

"Nah, it's harmless. He was just debating inviting people over to L.A. for the holidays or something," Cameron explained. "You know, if Callisto hasn't burned down the hotel by then."

"I don't know," Isabel said, shaking her head. "In theory that's a good idea. But the potential for disaster is definitely there."

"They survived Homecoming so it might not be that bad," he suggested, completely unaware of exactly how the weekend had actually gone.

"True. I half expected a body to turn up in the duck pond," she said. "So what did you think of the whole black and white thing? I'm mildly mortified that I wore tulle and Greg is somewhat traumatized because his hair was flat."

Cameron laughed. "I'm relieved I went the jeans and t-shirt direction. And seeing monochrome was kind of old hat to me. You know, if I'd actually been aware at the time that I had been seeing black and white."

"I'm annoyed because I had an absolutely gorgeous dress and I never got a chance to wear it. Maybe I'll keep it till prom." Isabel rolled her eyes, "Please, don't remind me of those lovely superpowers. I would have much rather seen in black and white then bounced."

"I know," Cameron said sympathetically, remembering how annoyed she'd been. "I forgot about the dress thing. Maybe you can just use it for a special evening with Greg or something?" he suggested, wondering if he'd be able to get Veronica to show him what she'd been planning on wearing too.

"That's an idea," she agreed. "We'll have to plan something. Maybe for our sixth month anniversary, not that we've really been making a big deal over anniversaries or anything." Because she was pretty sure the dress would only be in the way on the special night they did have planned. "But still six months? That's the longest I've ever dated anyone."

Cameron smiled. "Wow, that's getting long. I'd say it definitely some sort of celebration."

"Well I have about six more weeks to plan. I'm pretty sure I'll be able to pull something off," she grinned. "Of course, my luck there would be some sort of invasion then. Or we'd be back in black and white."

"I suppose it wouldn't be recommended to fight off monsters in a fancy dress," he joked.

"No, not at all. So what brings you in here anyway? My sparkling wit and charm?"

"Naturally," he chuckled be. "Actually, I wanted to pick up a book, but it looked like you might have been reading something more interesting," he remarked as his gaze dropped back the magazine she had been reading when he came in.

"Oh I'm just killing time ~~doing research~~ reading Cosmo," Isabel said trying for casual. "What book are you looking for?"

Cameron told her the title of whatever book was next on his literature class list. "Cosmo, huh? Anything interesting?"

"That's right over there," she said, gesturing towards the fiction section. "I'll go get it for you if you want to page through the magazine. I was reading the article about ~~101 sex positions to try before you die~~ the new Fall fashions."

First instinct was to say no as he really didn't care much at fashions, then again... it was Cosmo. "You don't mind?"

"Of course not," Isabel smiled, heading out to the stacks to find Cam's book. "It's the library's copy so it' really for everyone."

"Thanks!" Cameron replied before picking up the magazin. Making sure there wasn't any menfolk around, he started leafing through it. He skipped the relationship advice articles and then stumbled onto the more interesting parts. It was safe to say that he was quickly engrossed and possibly turning a little red himself.

A few minutes later, Isabel returned. "Find anything interesting?"

Cameron startled, flustering a bit as he closed the mag. "Uh yeah, actually I sort of did."
