Sitting at the counter, staring into space while sipping her coffee, Isabel tried to figure out the best way to break the news about the phone call to Parker.

Back from Bio and still breathing. That's always good.

Isabel's in the 300s doing a little research.

The library is closed for Lunch. Isabel sat and read avidly.

Isabel can't decide if Cosmopolitan should count as research.

Cheeks red, Isabel decided that it does.

After doing jury duty in class, Cameron wandered into the library to pick up the next book for his literature class.

"Yo, Izzy! How's it going?"

"Hey Cam!" Isabel said, shutting the magazine and sliding it, facedown, to the side. "What's up?"

Cameron raised an eyebrow, noticing the whole sneakiness going on. "Nothing much. Still winding down from the weekend. How about you?"

Sometimes the best defense is a good offense. "It was fun wasn't it? Did Veronica have a good time?"

"It was a lot of fun," Cameron agreed, way too easily distracted. "She said she did and I have reason to believe her."

"Oh? Does this have anything to do with Bel bringing you out to visit her?" Isabel asked innocently. "I believe the term he used was booty call."

Cameron groaned and rubbed his forehead. "No and yes, I guess. It wasn't a booty call, just... friends catching up."

Isabel chuckled and reached out to pat Cam's arm. "I know. I'm just teasing. So what is going on then?"

"Well..." He gave her a sheepish look. "Things have sort of moved on since then and we decided this weekend to give the long distance thing a go."

"Oh really? Well congratulations then," she said. "I hope it all works out. The good thing is it's really not that long of a distance, at least as long as you have Bel's interdimensional taxi service."

"Bel really is handy to have around," Cameron replied even if he was slightly wistful about what Veronica had told him. "I just don't want him to get tired of being used like that. I'm sure it'd get annoying for him if people keep bugging him to get a ride to somewhere."

"I get that," Isabel agreed. "That's why I put up with traveling home to Roswell by plane and save bugging Bel for when I really need it. Like going to visit Angel."

Cameron nodded in agreement. "Did Angel mention his holidays plans to you?"

"No he didn't. I'm almost afraid to ask," she said, curious.

"Nah, it's harmless. He was just debating inviting people over to L.A. for the holidays or something," Cameron explained. "You know, if Callisto hasn't burned down the hotel by then."
