Arts & Crafts Workshop #5, Camp Dining Hall, 08.07.06, Afternoon

When everyone was in the dining hall, The Tick smiled and held up the envelopes containing the photos the students had taken last week.

"Hello, campers! This week, you'll be spending a lot of time with the photographs you took last week! To start off, you'll be making a photo flower arrangement. To do this, you can cut out a standard flower pattern in colored construction paper, cut your pictures to fit onto the flower, glue the picture to the flower, attach a pipe cleaner stem, then fit your photo flower into the canister you'll be using as a flower pot! All of these supplies can be found on your desks, including extra construction paper to decorate the 'flower pot'! A nice arrangement will probably feature five to twelve flowers."

"For your scrapbooks this week, you'll be integrating the photos you didn't use on your flowers into the books! Do this however you see fit: fitting them into old pages, new pages, onto the cover, whatever you see fit!"

Molly shrugged. "Went to Caritas on Saturday to watch Cam and Charlie get drunk. Hung around in a common room yesterday and tried to figure out who everybody was." She tilted her head, trying to remember. "Didn't the radio say you were one of the people all switched around?"

Alec started putting together his first flower, not sure which photos he actually wanted to cut up even with the doubles.

"Hey, Alec," Molly said, barely blushing at all. "Did you get to spend time outside the kissing booth on Friday?"

He looked up, grinning at Molly. "Yeah, Jaye showed me cotton candy and we went on the ferry wheel. It was pretty fun. Did you do anything?"

"Ferris wheel," Molly corrected absently. "Pippi and I tormented the carney running the Test of Strength game. That was fun."

Strangely enough, Hermione had been going for a plant theme with her pictures. As she starts putting her flower together, she can't help but be surprised at the accidental meta.

Broots scrunched down behind his laptop and began working on his photos.

A lot of Stark's photos featured part of a finger that had evidently been blocking the lens. Oops. Luckily chopping up photos was part of the day's project, so he could cut around the finger. So after cutting out a few blue flowers, he started cutting up photos so there were no longer any visible fingers.

Hermione arranges her photos very carefully, keeping them interesting while not busy. It's all about spatial differences, really.

Alec pulled out the photos Dean had given him as well as his own left-over pictures and began arranging them in the book. There were the pictures of himself from Dean's photoshoot, the one of Jaye, his own photos of Dean, Sam (pre-being-punched), and Jaye. He wrote their names down beside the pictures, smiling a little as it seemed his scrapbook was filling out rather nicely.
