Arts & Crafts Workshop #5, Camp Dining Hall, 08.07.06, Afternoon

When everyone was in the dining hall, The Tick smiled and held up the envelopes containing the photos the students had taken last week.

"Hello, campers! This week, you'll be spending a lot of time with the photographs you took last week! To start off, you'll be making a photo flower arrangement. To do this, you can cut out a standard flower pattern in colored construction paper, cut your pictures to fit onto the flower, glue the picture to the flower, attach a pipe cleaner stem, then fit your photo flower into the canister you'll be using as a flower pot! All of these supplies can be found on your desks, including extra construction paper to decorate the 'flower pot'! A nice arrangement will probably feature five to twelve flowers."

"For your scrapbooks this week, you'll be integrating the photos you didn't use on your flowers into the books! Do this however you see fit: fitting them into old pages, new pages, onto the cover, whatever you see fit!"

"Yeah I thought I was Tyler," Jamie said as he facepalmed. "I spent all of Saturday going to support groups and made a pass at Z who was actually Tyler."

Molly snickered. "So, you weren't actually in someone else? Like a real body switch? You just thought you were Tyler in your body?"

Jamie flushed. "Yeah that's pretty accurate. Luckily there were a lot of other people that it happened to, so at least I'm not alone. I take it you were just normal Molly?"

"Yup," Molly said. "Just plain ol' me. I didn't even know anything weird was going on until I heard the radio on Saturday night."

"Considering the make up of the student body, it would be hard to notice anything weird unless they all grew a second head," Jamie commented.

"It makes you wonder what it actually take to make the people who live here *actually* notice something weird," Jamie said thoughtfully. "Like how weird does something have to be before someone makes a comment.?"

Molly shrugged. "Maybe they're just used to it," she said. "Like, they only comment on it when a whole week goes by with no weird stuff happening."

Molly had a sudden thought and tilted her head to look at Jamie. "You're friends with Marie. Any clue how her date with Charlie went last night? He was supposed to call me about something yesterday and he never did."

Jamie fliched a bit at the mention of the date. "I was there and they looked like they were having a good time. Not that I was there on a date with them per se. I was just there watching. Well not watching them in a "OMG STALKER" kind of way but more of a "I was just shooting pool and saw them" kind of way. Not that I have a reason to stalk Marie or anything because I'm not a stalker. I was just there playing with myself while she was there."

*coughs*

"Playing pool with myself while she was there. With Kawalsky. Having fun apparently," Jamie said bitterly. "Lots of it."

Molly gave Jamie a sympathetic look and laid a hand on his arm. "I'm sorry, Jamie," she said quietly.

Jamie sighed and shook his head. "Yeah well I kind of got trapped in the friend zone there. The timing on it just never seemed right."

"Hopefully not," Molly said with a sad shake of her head. "I can't think of anyone I would wish this feeling on."

So he pulls out his sock puppet and makes it sing.
