Dr. Cox is very busy watching his soaps on his portable TV set.

On the blackboard is written:

INTERRUPT PASSIONS AND SOMEONE WILL BE HEADING TO DETENTION


Taunting: expressing contempt or ridicule by verbal abuse.

Oh sure, you whiny babies might think it's mean and cruel. So what? Life sucks. Wear a helmet.

Taunting is a useful tool in your armament against the soulless devils out there who are trying to suck you down into mediocrity. It's effective in that it will often get your point across to the dimwits that be and can be darn fun at the same time.

Your assignment: Get a partner and taunt them in order to make them understand how you are right and they are wrong.

"I only made that deal for as long as Isabel was gone. But she's back now," Aeryn assures him.

"Oh." Greg wasn't exactly comforted by this. "Okay. You're...really tall!"

"Maybe you're not smart enough to get it," he suggested.

"You called me tall," she reminds him slowly. "That's not taunting, that's just stating a fact. Were you not listening to the directions?"

Aeryn frowns, and says, "I don't know what that is, and also, half the people at this school are actually taller than I am. John is taller than I am."

That didn't quite work. "For a girl, I mean!" Except Isabel is right around her height. "Also, you have stupid hair!"

Greg really just should give up. But he's Greg, and that's not happening.

"Jealous?" he asked, raising a brow.

"No, not at all," she says, frowning, wiping her finger on her pants. "I don't think Angel used this much product."

"I don't know who that is so that means nothing to me," Greg pointed out.

She stares at him. "Everyone smells like something," she says, and still focusing on her finger. "You, for instance, smell like this. You don't seem to have a problem with it."

Greg hadn't meant that to sound so girly.
