"So, have fun this week with your toys?" Becky asked, smiling. "Sure hope so, 'cause it was to prep you for today's lesson."

She gestured to the table in front of her, where there was an assortment of items.

"Okay, first things first - tell all of us what you did with your toys this week. Then we're going to make one night stand kits."

She perched on the edge of the table, demurely crossing her legs. "So, you're all kind of dumb - or at least, you haven't proven that I don't have to spell things out for y'all. A one night stand is when you have sex with someone once, with no ties or commitments of any kind. Often there's alcohol involved."

Becky smirked. "A lot of times, it's fun. But sometimes you wake up and want to chew your own arm off because the other person is so ugly. ~~That's Coyote Ugly.~~ Either way, being prepared can't hurt."

"So," she continued, hopping off the table and passing around bright pink plastic bags, "today we're putting together kits. Take one of each of the things on the table. Ask me or one of your little friends if you don't know what something is."

"And!" she added happily. "Thank you to Sam Winchester for getting me information for this class. So much help, Sam. Here, have a gift certificate to the Sin."

Beaming, Becky went over and presented Sam with a voucher for a free night with any of the girls at the Sin.

If, of course, one took "presented" to mean "put it on the table without looking to see what he did with it."

Sam shrugged, and nodded. "I could. I bet there are a lot of guys who would get better use out of it than I will."

"Or you could just wait until Alec's birthday?"

"What, and just give it to him? If Alec wants it, he's going to have to earn it."

"How would you make him earn it?" Dawn teased.

Sam gave her a playfully dirty look. "Not in any way that you're thinking right now."

Dawn grinned unrepentantly at him. "That's good. Because otherwise there'd be a return of the frying pan. You've got a head that should stay bump free."

"If you ever catch me doing anything with Alec, feel free to hit me, because I will have clear gone out of my mind, and it's possible that a blow to the head might knock me out of it."

"You may be the only person in the school other than me and Dean who feels that way," Dawn said, laughing.

"And I get the feeling that I dislike him more than both of you combined," Sam pointed out. "So really, I'd be out of my mind. There's crazy, and then there's that."

"One frying pan to the head if you get too snuggly with Alec," Dawn nodded. "In the interest of roomie solidarity, I promise."

"You're the best roommate ever. Even if you do laugh at me when I'm publically embarrassed."

"I'm still human," Dawn snickered. I think. "And it's funny. You laugh at me, right?"

"Only behind your back where you can't see me," Sam teased.

Somehow that wasn't the response she was hoping for. "I can still hear you, though."

"Okay, so I laugh. But that's when you're being genuinely funny, and the laughter is appropriate. You don't get singled out in class or embarrassed over the radio like I do."

Dawn stared at Sam. "Did you miss the broadcast where the entire school found out I'd been sent a box of condoms? Or the one where the entire school found out I beaned Dean with a frying pan?"

"Oh, I forgot about the condom thing," Sam admitted. "I still think the frying pan thing was more embarrassing for Dean. I mean, it's not like you accidentally hit him. He had it coming."

"He forgot my name," Dawn looked down at her feet. "And I know it wasn't him, but it looked like Dean, and he didn't know me and went off to have sex with someone else. Trust me, it was plenty embarrassing."

"Yeah - embarrassing for him, because he was an idiot and got himself hit by a spell," Sam explained. "Seriously Dawn, what you did wasn't as bad as you think."

Dawn just shook her head. "I made him grovel."

"...And?" Sam asked, not really seeing the problem with that.

"If it wasn't really him...then I did it for no reason," Dawn explained, "and if it was him, which I know it wasn't, then I forgave him way too easily."

"Did you know it wasn't him when you hit him?" Sam gave Dawn a sympathetic look. "And have you asked Dean if he was terribly bothered by it? Because if he doesn't think you embarrassed yourself, you might want to take that as a sign that the rest of us feel the same way."

"No, I didn't," Dawn admitted as she idly spun the handcuffs around her fingers. "I found that out later."

"Okay. So, at the time, you thought you were doing the right thing. You know, I'm going to keep telling you that you didn't embarrass yourself until you believe me."
