"Morning, dudes! Today's my last day, and it's detention, and that's..." Ted trailed off in thought. "Actually, that's pretty much like when I was in high school. Anyway, war is hell and so is detention. So today, each of you dudes will face off with a most heinous spawn of Hell and you'll have to escape and/or defeat the bad dude. Okay? Excellent!"

There were five doors in front of them. Each door was a different color and had the student's name on it. "You can take in whatever you've got on you, but weapons and magic won't do any good. They're just hologrammy things. Step up, dudes. Oh, and at the end? You all get Twinkies."

The robot moped. //No one gives the accordion any love. We're very alike that way. Any old robot can play guitar and sing, but it takes a talented robot to learn accordion. No one appreciates me. I might as well not even be here. It's not like anyone would notice.//

No wonder everyone abandoned the emo robot. He's just so emo!

//Well yeah. If all your going to do is bitch about your abillities instead of actually, I don't know, USING them, we are all going to ignore you. If you're so fucking amazing, why don't you make your situation better, you little bitch?//

The robot turned around and blinked slowly at Pip. "I'm not programmed to do that." He sighed. "No one cared enough to think of programming me to do that."

"Then go ask a programmer to program it in to you," Pip said, exasperated.

"You'd think it'd be easy to find a programmer around here, but it's not. Nothing's ever easy."

"Did you actually try to find a programmer, or have you just been complaining about your inabillity to to do it? Because I would imagine the computer teacher would be able to help you."

The robot stared at him for a few moments. "Well, if you want to be particular...no. But it's all pointless. Nothing ever works out for me."

It sure is a shame that there are no blunt, heavy objects in the room to pummel the thing to death.

"...Have you ever tried doing something?"

"What's the point?" the robot moped. "It's never going to work. The odds are never in my favor."

He probably hasn't even left the room in hundreds of years. What a lazy bum.

Pip narrowed his eye. "How can the odds never be in your favor if you've never tried anything? That doesn't make sense."

"Mathematically speaking. Even math hates me."

Pip had lost his temper a while ago, but now he was getting really pissed off.

"How strong are you?" he asked.

"I'm three times as strong as any human. Not that anybody cares."

"So what would you do if I kicked you with my combat boots?" Pip asked.

"Cry probably." He paused. "Wait, no, I don't have tear ducts." He sighed.

"Let's find out," Pip said. He shifted into a combat stance and hit Marvin with a spinning back kick.

Marvin fell over with a dull metallic clang. "Oh," he said after a few moments. "I think I've fallen down. Nothing good ever happens to me."

Pip's scenario disappeared and Ted stepped inside. "Good job, dude! Remember - emo kids never listen to anything you say, so just kick them."

Pip shifted out of his stance, held his hands together and bowed to Ted. "Thank you for the lesson, sensei."
