There are drinks set out on a folding table near the unlit campfire, and a couple of baskets filled with apples, oranges, and bananas, because sometimes you have to balance out all the doughnuts/twinkies/s'mores, after all. There's also a cardboard box at each end of the table, as yet unopened. Xander is standing in front of the table handing out cups.

"You'll probably each want something to drink, because I'm gonna make you talk, and some of you might be the type to get dry throats when you do this kind of talking.

Last week we looked at one specific job someone might have on a team; this time, we'll go with a skill that can be useful for anybody when you're trying to support your fellow Scooby-types -- or your flashy superpowered leader, if you have one. I figure we'll probably switch back and forth between those two things each week for most of the workshop, and look at putting them together towards the end.

So what skill comes in really handy when you're trying to investigate a crime, stop the bad guys, rescue the princess or otherwise save the day for goodness, justice, puppies, and truth?

The ability to lie your ass off.

I know that sounds kind of contradicty, like 'jumbo shrimp' or 'bad pie,' and some of you guys may not be down with bending the truth until it squeaks, but the fact is that sometimes you' might have to, at least for a while. You may need to cover for your friend with the secret identity, or your entire group that just cut class to go slay ~~vampires~~ dragons, or yourself, if you're in the wrong place at the wrong time. And hey, maybe you'll get lucky enough not to need it -- but it's a skill you should have, just in case."

"So you get excited when thinking about my boyfriend's homeland?"

Nadia blinked. "Um, one?" she guessed, since she didn't know who his roommate was, and the demon thing seemed entirely possible. "I bet you only know his middle management people."

"Well England has the Spice Girls and Elizabeth Hurley while Germany has lederhosen and people named Horst," Jamie replied. "You do the math."

Jamie makes a buzzing noise. "Sorry! That is incorrect. And what do we have for our constestant Jamie?"

Jamie stomps once on the floor creating a duplicate of himself.

"Well Jamie," the duplicate replied, "We have a years supply of Car Wax and a the home version of 'Liar Liar Pants on Fire' game!"

Rory Gilmore

"Your misconceptions about European cultures distrub me." Nadia frowned. "As does my boyfriend's predilection for touching lips with mutant boys."

"One," Jamie guesses.

"He's done CPR on other mutants?" Jamie asked.

"Gah!" Shiro jumped back as the doppelganger appeared before him. Then slowly, his brows furrowed together and his head tilted as Second Jamie told him what he'd won.

"Car wax...?" For some reason this struck him as particularly hilarious.

Shiro shook his head, "Nope, try again." He smirked.

"uh uh" Shiro shook his head. Then he frowned, "Why is it so impossible to know the king of Hell? He's actually an alright kinda guy. When he's not killing people, I guess."

"Who's your roommate?"

Actually.....well, I'm trying to work....**sweatdrop**

"You personally know the King of Hell?" Jamie said dubiously. "Fine. Prove it."

The two Jamies looked at each other and shrugged.

Blair spent a lot of time thinking over what he had done last week before answering.

1. I got two new pets last week.
2. I made my cabinmates sing Kumbayah.
3. I meditated outside.

Bridge Carson

There may have been a Willow waaaaaaaaay in the back.

She may have been holding up a sign written on notebook paper which read "I am not actually here."

She may have also waved excitedly to Xander if he happened to look in her direction.

"Um . . . you could call it that,"

Blair blinked at Nadia. "Number one."

Shiro grunted, "the purple hair spazz, uh, I mean James."

Nadia was willing to bet number three was true. And she could see Blair talking his cabinmates (whoever they were) into singing Kumbayah.

"One. You have no new pets. Or maybe only one. Or three. But not two. ~~Five is right out.~~"

Shiro blinked, "huh? How the hell am I supposed to do that?"

Nadia's eyebrows shot up. "Oh." She reached out to put a comforting hand on Shiro's shoulder. "I'm sorry."
