Wilderness Survival - Week 4 | Thursday Morning, A Clearing in the Woods

Callisto had two lock boxes today, rather than just one. She pointed at the first box. "Shoes."

Then she pointed at the second box. "Now your clothes. Everything except your underwear."

After everyone had removed their clothing and placed it in the box, Callisto continued "If you spend a prolonged period of time in the wilderness, then it is more than likely whatever clothing you were wearing at the time will come under a considerable amount of wear and tear, especially if it wasn't designed for the environment you're in. The results can be… unpleasant to say the least.

"Luckily, it is possible to repair, and even make clothing from items found in the wilderness. Animal skins, some kinds of tree barks, vines, sinew. The possibilities, if not endless, are at least more varied than you'd think. Even luckier for you, I'm not making you hunt and forage for the raw materials.

"I think you can guess the rest of today's lesson. Use the materials I've provided to make garments to replace the ones you were wearing before. I know the equipment might be a primitive compared to what some of you may be used to, all bone needles and stone knives, but well, you'll just have to deal.

"Get to it," Callisto said. "And as an extra incentive, you're not getting your clothes back until next week, so make sure that you put a decent effort into the clothes."

Cameron stared. "You can't be serious."

"Isn't there some sort of guideline in the teacher handbook along the lines of 'thou shalt not require your students to be naked'?" Cameron asked, because really.

Aeryn's just glaring. A lot. And nothing's coming off.

"You can have the shoes," Aeryn says. In fact, she wore a really old pair of boots because she doesn't expect to get them back.

Sam looked down at his clothes, and looked up at Callisto, blushing heavily. "Um. Are you serious?"

"..Um," said Buffy, eyes very wide.

Janet? Just rolled her eyes and stripped down. "The only reason I'm not bitching is because you actually have a good point," she said. "Also, nearly my entire wardrobe consists of jeans and t-shirts, so it's not like I'm missing out on much if I don't get these back for a week."

Thanks to the conversation they'd had in the COmmon Room the night before, at least Parker had warning. And was thus wearing a fairly modest black sports bra and work-out shorts under her clothes.

The glaring was just standard, now.

"Nice. Modest." Janet's underwear was nice, but not as modest. Yes, she had on green satin, and yes, the bra and panties matched, but it wasn't exactly what she'd wanted to show off to the entire class.

Parker looked down, then rolled her eyes. "Yup. Callisto said something at about 2am last night. I decided not to test whether she was joking or not." She looked at Janet's then cocked an eyebrow. "And that really is your color, you know."

"I can occasionally be fashionable," said Janet, maybe a touch defensively. She grinned. "Thank you. And no, when Callisto makes threats, I wouldn't take them lightly."

Alec raised a hand. "What if you're not wearing underwear?"

Well, hell, if he had teacher permission. "Yes, ma'am." So Alec stripped.

Even if, technically, he wasn't the one naked. Dean was. But close enough.

Parker blinked, shook her head, blinked again, then yanked her gaze back to the furs. Dean probably wouldn't appreciate the ogling of *his* body, even if Alec was the one wearing it. But damn, seriously.

Alphonse might be joining those who are staring. For a moment, anyway, becase at least he dressed decently, even under his clothes. It didn't lower any level of awkwardness he had, though.

Joxer blinked. "You know, you'd have to give me my boots back before I could give them up again." He crossed his arms. "No way you're getting my clothes."

"You couldn't handle what the gods gave me," Joxer grumbled. "But that's beside the point. I don't trust you. Give me my boots back, and you might get me out of my clothes. Might."
