Callisto had two lock boxes today, rather than just one. She pointed at the first box. "Shoes."

Then she pointed at the second box. "Now your clothes. Everything except your underwear."

After everyone had removed their clothing and placed it in the box, Callisto continued "If you spend a prolonged period of time in the wilderness, then it is more than likely whatever clothing you were wearing at the time will come under a considerable amount of wear and tear, especially if it wasn't designed for the environment you're in. The results can be… unpleasant to say the least.

"Luckily, it is possible to repair, and even make clothing from items found in the wilderness. Animal skins, some kinds of tree barks, vines, sinew. The possibilities, if not endless, are at least more varied than you'd think. Even luckier for you, I'm not making you hunt and forage for the raw materials.

"I think you can guess the rest of today's lesson. Use the materials I've provided to make garments to replace the ones you were wearing before. I know the equipment might be a primitive compared to what some of you may be used to, all bone needles and stone knives, but well, you'll just have to deal.

"Get to it," Callisto said. "And as an extra incentive, you're not getting your clothes back until next week, so make sure that you put a decent effort into the clothes."

Ooh, that's an impressive glare from Aeryn. "I'll be in the stands supporting the team. In the clothes I'm wearing now."

Callisto grinned. "Oh no you won't."

Still glaring, Aeryn thinks about this. "Fine," she says after a moment. "Sunday."

"Fine," Callisto said. "You do realise how small the cheer outfits are?"

"I've seen them," she nods. "I'm keeping my clothes."

"Enjoy the game on Sunday."

Aeryn nods. "I will," she agrees.

"And remember to show up on Saturday as well."

"Not the deal," Aeryn says. "You said Sunday, I only agreed to Sunday. Better luck next week."

"Aeryn, you're cheering both days, or you're joining the squad permanently."

"Not the deal, not joining the squad," she says, and takes off her shoes, handing them to Callisto. "There you go."

"Clothes too. Or else."

"You got me to agree to Sunday, and you got my shoes. Really, you've won," she says. "I'm going to go do an activity now."

"Aeryn, show up on Saturday, or you'll regret it."

"I'll show up on Saturday. I just won't cheer. That's for Sunday."

Aeryn knows she should probably fear for Sunday, but she's just going to go off to particpate in class now. Take this as a win.
