Arts & Crafts Workshop #4, Camp Dining Hall, 06.12.06, Afternoon

[OOC: Posted early because I love. And didn't fall asleep while writing. GO ME! Workshop Info Post!

Oh, and for my own sanity, Tick will now only have regular office hours on Tuesday and Thursday. Feel free to make an appointment via voicemail for other days or contact me OOCly.]

When everyone was seated, The Tick smiled. "Welcome, campers! Remember, this week is the Student Art Fair! Each of you will be submitting something to it, be it one of your projects for this workshop or something you've done in your free time. In addition to that, you'll be making something for the entrance to the fair."

"Each of you will be making a bouquet of paper flowers. On the front table here, we have a wide selection of tissue paper for you to use, paper clips, wire, garden stakes, and vases hand made by me to put them in! You also have instructions at your tables, but it's easy enough." Tick took a blue piece of tissue paper to demonstrate. "You just fold like so, then clip like so, attach the wire for a slight stem like so, pull and scrunch and fluff like so, and wrap the wire around the garden stake and viola! You have a paper flower! You'll be making a bunch of these."

"And for your scrapbooks, I went ahead and got your pictures developed at the Kwik Stop. Take your pictures and work them in! Scissors and glue are at your tables."

Tempe took the pictures she'd taken during last week's workshop of various locations around the school and town, and pasted them in on the pages on which she had already earmarked places for them.

She also took the pictures of Sam, Janet, Elizabeth, Bridge, Sawyer, Peter (the really nice English one who had enjoyed her cookies), Tyler, and Paige that she'd *handwavily* taken with the disposable camera later in the week, and put them in as well.

Also, she put in a picture of some of the weetiny kitties, including Goldilocks and Silver Fox (http://www.myrtlebeachpets.com/images/gray-and-blonde.jpg), and her new little fluffball.

She surrounded the picture of her new kitten with glitter. It seemed appropriate, after all.

[OOC: Pictures of the people listed above are handwaved with permission.]
