Arts & Crafts Workshop #4, Camp Dining Hall, 06.12.06, Afternoon

[OOC: Posted early because I love. And didn't fall asleep while writing. GO ME! Workshop Info Post!

Oh, and for my own sanity, Tick will now only have regular office hours on Tuesday and Thursday. Feel free to make an appointment via voicemail for other days or contact me OOCly.]

When everyone was seated, The Tick smiled. "Welcome, campers! Remember, this week is the Student Art Fair! Each of you will be submitting something to it, be it one of your projects for this workshop or something you've done in your free time. In addition to that, you'll be making something for the entrance to the fair."

"Each of you will be making a bouquet of paper flowers. On the front table here, we have a wide selection of tissue paper for you to use, paper clips, wire, garden stakes, and vases hand made by me to put them in! You also have instructions at your tables, but it's easy enough." Tick took a blue piece of tissue paper to demonstrate. "You just fold like so, then clip like so, attach the wire for a slight stem like so, pull and scrunch and fluff like so, and wrap the wire around the garden stake and viola! You have a paper flower! You'll be making a bunch of these."

"And for your scrapbooks, I went ahead and got your pictures developed at the Kwik Stop. Take your pictures and work them in! Scissors and glue are at your tables."

Jaye's still trying not to talk, so she displays her bouquet full of very pretty if hastily-made flowers in a very blue vase. If she gets to take this home afterwards, it's so going to mess with her decor.

She might keep indicating the vase like she's one of those prize girls on a game show.

The whole activity reminded Sakurazaki of childhood, so she's got tons and tons of bright flowers in hers, all of Ojou-sama's favourite colours, even white, although she can't stand white. Lots of pink to represent sakura. They seem pretty expertly made...save for the first few. Once she started up again, though, it was like second nature. She puts them in a tall, curvy vase.

Tempe's bouquet consisted of 5 very flowery-looking flowers, and 4 that looked nothing like flowers, but gave an appealing contrasty sort of look to her project. The flowers are very colourful. So are the non-flowers.

And the really pretty blue vase that Tempe had picked to put her flowers in? Made the flowers look even better.

Kaylee's flowers weren't perfect, but they at least resembled flowers. Most of them were bright pretty colors that she put in a shiny pink vase.

Luna's vase was filled with extremely bright flowers, all of which were larger than the average person's head.

A few weren't swaying in a fake breeze, and that one at left center was absolutely not occasionally humming a tuneless melody. Really. It's just your imagination.

Bridge's flowers are... not surprisingly, mostly green. There's the occasional yellow or blue flower mixed in, though, and even one or two pink.

Sakura's flowers are... in every color of paper that was offered. Simply put, she went batshit with her flower-making. She has a few stray flowers that wouldn't fit into her vase. Whoops.
