Luau, The Main Campfire, Friday evening

The main campfire had been turned into a tropical paradise... without the tropics. There were leis and grass skirts to wear, tropical music playing, a buffet table, and the infamous Limbo Stick of Destiny, an artifact brought back to America from World War II. Noody knows what happens when a person wins a limbo competition involving the Limbo Stick of Destiny, but several experts on the subject suggest that "absolutely nothing happens except maybe you win a little trophy."

It was party time at the Fandom High Summer Camp.

[OOC: OCD is up. Yes, there is pig, poi, and sometimes the band will switch from generic tropical music to 60's beach movie music, or maybe reggae, or Raffi. They're unpredictable like that.

The luau takes place during a long break in the rain that fh_weather is reporting. Yes, I'm modding the weather. Admin privilege.]

"Haven't fallen down any stairs," he said. "So it's an improvement over previous weeks."

"Been trying to get the courage up to ask a girl out," Joxer said. "I did it before, but that got all interrupted by my accident. Now I'm not sure if I should even try."

"Willow?" Joxer said. "But this talking box thing at night... it keeps saying things about Willow and Peter, so I think that ship may have already embarked on its raiding spree."

Jack spotted Jamie and sat down next to him, sipping his own beverage. "Jamie. Haven't seen you since shirtless day. How's it going?"

Jack, it should be pointed out, was wearing his garish hawaiian shirt, but it wasn't buttoned.

"What's not to love?" The smug grin became a smirk. "Grass skirts and pretty people are a damn near perfect combination. If only we could convert everyone to the Way of Shirtlessness, this would be perfect."

"No fooling. They were fast asleep in my coat and the next thing I know they were running out of the cafetering holding a pot pie above their heads," Jamie said shaking his head. "I know there's been stranger things here but that one had to take the cake."
