Welcome Party for the Summer Students and Staff

Despite the slightly overcast sky, the weather is still good for welcoming all of the new arrivals for the Fandom High summer session. The graduation decorations (and gremlin debris) have been cleared from the front lawn, and replaced with tables of information packets, food, and drinks. A series of signs point the students to the information table first, where they can pick up their room assignments from the office drones, and then continue on to the food tables to mingle.

And no, there are no inflatable gremlins around today. It's far too early to start scaring the new folks. That's what the mingling section is for!

A voice with a French accent spoke from behind Greg. "Your attempts to look at girls are impressive, my young apprentice, but you lack stealth."

Greg tilted his head back to look at whoever it was upside-down.

"Yeah, well maybe I don't want to be stealthy," he proposed. "If the ladies don't see the interest, then how will they know it's safe to flock to me?" He winked. "I understand how intimidating I can be, what with my devastating good looks and all."

Phoebe walked by and heard this and grinned. "Oh you're going to fit in just fine here."

"Yes," Pip said. "But he is new and does not know which girls will appreciate the attention and which will cut his head off. Or blow him up, if he happens to look at your sister."

"This is very true and he'll need help to learn the difference." She grinned at pip. "Piper won't blow him up... the first time. However, if he were to say, try to flirt with Callisto?"

"Or say, Aeryn," Pip responded. "Callisto is arguably scarier, though. Because her boyfriend is also capable of being scary, wheras I'm pretty sure I could take John."

"Sister? Are you guys really that harsh? Jusy admiring the scenery, honest," said Greg, straightening back up and completely ignoring his hair, which had spiked up even more due to that fun gravity thing. He waved. "I'm Greg."

Pip raised an eyebrow. "I'll let that slide because you're new. I'm French. Where do you think I got this silly accent?"

"Quebec," Greg said, as though this was the most logical response. "But I'm wrong, so whatever. Where in France?"

While waiting for Pip to answer him, Phoebe held out her hand. "HI, Greg, I'm Phoebe."

"Don't let him kid you. He sent box tops back to the company for it with shipping and handling." Said Pippi walking up and poking Pip in the side.
