As the sun disappeared below the horizon on Monday evening, large, bright lights came on, illuminating the front lawn of Fandom High. There was a stage area with several chairs for the administration and special guests, as well as a podium and microphone. On the grass in front of the stage are rows and rows of chairs for parents, guardians, siblings and friends of the graduating seniors, as well as enough chairs for any faculty, townies and students who decide to attend. There is an aisle free down the middle and reserved seats in the front row for the graduating seniors.

All in all, the place looks fantastic decked out in blue and gold thanks to the efforts of the freshmen on the graduation committee.

Oh yes. Then there's the inflatable gremlin filled with helium off to the side that's the size of the building. It looks kind of cute, actually, just floating there while tied to the ground.

Bel took a seat as far from Grams as he possibly could.

Pippi waved to Bel.

"Hello most eligible bachelor type person!"

Bel blinked at Pippi for a moment, trying to understand what she was saying. Then he got it. "Hey," he said back. "How's it going?"

"Very well thank you." she looked around the assembled crowd. "And yourself?"

"All right, I guess," Bel said. He scanned the crowd himself, looking for a few faces.

"So what's this all about then? Can you tell me?"

"You're asking me?" Bel said. "This is all new to me, too. I guess when you take enough classes they put you in a dress and a silly hat and hand you a piece of paper that says you're allowed to go out in the world. I guess they do similar things back home, but the ceremony is a lot...different."

Pippi raised an eyebrow at Bel.

"I was kinda talking about the other thing." she said, "But thanks."

"Oh!" Bel said, feeling a little embarrassed. "Well, uh, I'm a demon, and Phoebe's a witch, and her grandmother is a witch, too, and if she realizes her granddaughter is dating a demon, she'll vanquish my ass."

"Wull that's terrible! Why should she want to do that? You're perfectly delightful!"

"Because I'm a demon and it's a whole witch-demon thing," Bel said. "My kind's evil, her kind is good, it's like the Romeo and Juliet of the supernatural world." He sighed.

Considering what happened to those two, it's probably best Pippi doesn't know who that is.

"That sucks."

"Yeah," Bel grumbled. "And Grandma Halliwell over there has quite a few demon vanquishes under her belt. I think she's the type to vanquish first, ask questions later."

"When you say 'vanquish'. Do you mean like 'kill' or 'chide' or 'send away'?"

Blair walked past Bel on his way up to Phoebe and Grams. He waved all sneaky like.

Phoebe turned her head to search the crowd... looking for one face in particular.

Cole glanced over to Phoebe.

Phoebe's face was tense as Grams and Blair talked about how there wasn't a rule she wouldn't break before coming to Fandom. However, when she caught Cole's eyes, her face relaxed a bit and smiled at him.

Cole may have looked a little pouty.

Phoebe showed him his ring that she was wearing.

I love you she mouthed.

Grams glanced curiously at Phoebe. "What are you doing, dear?"

To her credit, Phoebe was mostly honest about this.

"Saying hello to other friends of mine," she said with a smile. "It rould have been rude for me to shout at them. See, that's Pippi."

Grams nodded and turned her attention back to Blair.

Love you, too, Cole mouthed back before he noticed Grams looking in his direction.

She was definitely going to need to be held and kissed after this.
