Summer Shenanigans, Wednesday [all day]

Today there was a ring of chairs in the middle of the park, so that was fine. Musical chairs was a very normal game to play!

Of course, this was Anakin...

"Today we're playing Musical Shares!" Anakin announced through his completely superfluous megaphone. "It will be one giant team building exercise!"

That seemed ominous. "Come get your shirts!"

Anakin read out his names for the day:

Well. At least there was no chocolate pudding or packing peanuts yet?

Anyone tired of Hot Cross Buns played in squeaks yet? Sixteen people, four chairs!

As the chairs started to dwindle, Gladio was keeping himself pretty low to the ground to do whoever wound up with him on a chair a favor by being the first one with his butt in the seat. And it just so happened that his strategy had worked out well, because when the music stopped, not only was he conveniently right there, but he noticed Ignis nearby, as well, and, helpfully, snagged him to pull him in onto his chair as well.

And when Prompto caught Gladio snagging a seat and pulling Ignis in with him, he saw a golden opportunity that he could not refuse, and that was when he went flying in to sprawl across both their laps, slinging an arm around Gladio's shoulders as he sang out, "Chocobro piiiii~iile~!"

Just when he had adjusted to Gladio having pulled him in, Ignis now had a Prompto in his lap. He let out a faint grunt from the impact, regretted several life decision, and we just glad he had a free hand to push his glasses back up his nose before noting, "Mathematically speaking, we should be having one more..."

Prompto pulled himself away from meeting the deadpan glare he was getting from Gladio enough to call out, "Temporary chocobro status up for grabs! Come and get it before it's too late!"

Sure, Gladio had a very nice and very roomy lap but this was just...awkward. Oh well!

"I'm pretty light," he offered.

"Get on in here, Stark," Gladio encouraged with a wave of his hand. "And if you happen to crush Prompto in the process, then so be it."

Just be glad Gladio sat down first, Prompto.

And Libby definitely wasn't paying any attention to details right now, she really was just going for trying to make sure she found herself sitting in whatever chair and/or people were closest. There were so few of them! Although at least it couldn't get more difficult than this round, right?

Beta had serious concerns about the chair's structural integrity, but more immediately she had serious concerns about her own.

"Please don't squash me when we all inevitably tip over," she said, gingerly trying to figure out how this was even going to work.
