"Hello, students! Remember, next Tuesday is your final. Since it's been such a persistent metaphor this semester, I wouldn't be surprised if there was a question about the Tricycle of Justice."

"Thursday will be a review day. Bring any question you have about Justice and I'll answer it! But for today, you get off easy. Today we'll be watching one last episode off Crime & Punishment for the semester. This is the controversial episode where a party clown was found dead in the Mayor's kitchen pantry."

"This week's metaphor is the sun, while this week's extra credit is to bring is some snazzy, summery sunglasses."

There weren't any tensions between us until he asked me about the outfit in the middle of the dance floor. Did the fact that I just broke up with my boyfriend a week ago escape your attention?

Veronica is totally glaring as she tosses the new note to Marty.

The glaring? Marty is amused by it. Soooo amused.

Well it couldn't have been that *tense* if he brought it up while dancing. Who brings up serious things when you are dancing? No one. And you broke up with your EX-boyfriend. Twice. Move on! Move upwards! Do I need to bring up the fish thing again?

Veronica debates, but decides against telling Marty that Archie didn't actually understand the whole thing for fear that Marty will decide to explain it to him.

Instead she scribbles back:

I have no intentions of getting back with Logan, but that doesn't mean I'm going to jump into something with the first guy who shows interest now that I'm single.

She pauses and adds:

I'm not even sure if he *would* be interested.

Veronica sighs. She tried.

I don't know! I guess because he comes in to Caritas every time I work and he always walks me home. Plus there's the fact that he's nice and he's never trash talked me on the radio, unlike most of the other people who do broadcasts.

Marty reads the message and shakes his head.

He draws an arrow to "Comes into Caritas every time I work"

Another one to "He always walks me home"

And finally one to "He's nice and he's never trash talked me".

He then writes down the number (703)GET-CLUE and supplies a quarter.

She waits until Prof Tick isn't paying attention and writes Marty another note.

She pulls a fresh sheet of paper from her notebook.

Veronica snickers a little at part of Marty's comment, since if she and Nadia have anything to say about it, it won't be true for at least one day.

Then she sighs. Because now Marty has her thinking and she's not sure she's prepared to deal with this.
