Advanced Criminal Justice, Class 29, Period 1, 04.25.06

[OOC: I should really focus on the work stuff today. Therefore, light interaction from me. And one last movie day for you. Class Info Post.]

"Hello, students! Remember, next Tuesday is your final. Since it's been such a persistent metaphor this semester, I wouldn't be surprised if there was a question about the Tricycle of Justice."

"Thursday will be a review day. Bring any question you have about Justice and I'll answer it! But for today, you get off easy. Today we'll be watching one last episode off Crime & Punishment for the semester. This is the controversial episode where a party clown was found dead in the Mayor's kitchen pantry."

"This week's metaphor is the sun, while this week's extra credit is to bring is some snazzy, summery sunglasses."

"Enjoy!"

Veronica actually headdesks when she reads that one.

Then she writes a reply while rubbing her forehead.

What is it with you guys and seeing me in a sailor suit?

Marty chuckled a little at that.

That was a joke Mars. You can't hide behind bad experiences all your life. Take it from a guy who was scared of going to prom. If you let a bad experience keep you from what could be a healthy relationship, then you'll never be happy.

Grow a pair. Ask him out again. See where it goes. It doesn't always have to end in doom and gloom.

Now go put on that sailor outfit and offer to swab his deck.

Veronica actually flashes Marty a smile halfway through the note. Then she reads the last line and chokes on her gatorade facepalms.

Okay. There was actually some good stuff in that note, Blank. I'll think about asking Archie out again. But I think I'll save the deck swabbing until at least date five.
