"I think you'd have dug in your heels if anyone had tried to push you into something you weren't ready for," said Janet, grinning. "Besides, I can't talk about taking a while to figure things out." Let's just line the writers up and smack them.
"Wait, dance?" Janet rolled her eyes. "I'm being forced to go to prom and now I'm expected to dance too?"
"Yeah. Thank God Jarod is a lot more patient than I am." Parker grinned. "So, yeah. It's going good. And I have a date for prom, which puts me ahead of Jaye. I hope she's enjoying the alcohol I left for her."
Snickering, Parker said, "Oh, come on. It's not like they're asking us to foxtrot or anything. I'll even poke Jarod to go dance with you, if you want."
"Parker, a weetiny bunny on speed has more patience than you do," said Janet. She rolled her eyes. "Yeah, yeah, rub it in, why don't you?"
"That's good, because I can't foxtrot to save my life," said Janet. She shrugged. "Sure, I'll dance with Jarod. According to Sam, I may even have fun at the dance."
"Maybe not entirely," said Janet, bemused. "But mostly true. Not that it matters; if you can put up with me being cranky, I can handle you having no patience."
Janet head collapsed on the Collections Desk as she started laughing.

"Hey, if nothing else? I bet we'll get to see Angel and Aeryn in tiaras. There is nothing that couldn't make that fun."
